Americinn Brooklyn Center, Minneapolis

I have stayed at many hotels, and this is the worst experience I have ever had! We stayed here this past weekend along with 60 other people for a family wedding. The rooms were dirty and smelled of smoke(non-smoking rooms). The front desk staff was rude when we tried to talk to them about the issues we were having. One of the girls told me I needed to settle down and this wasn't her issue and that I needed to take it up with the manager. The breakfast area was dirty, and when they actually had food it was cold. The swimming pool was dirty and had dirty towels laying all over. One of the mornings we went to the pool, and there were chicken bones floating around in the pool and all over the deck area. At one point during our stay they didn't have any clean towels in the hotel, and we were told to use the dirty ones that we had used the day before. If all that wasn't bad enough, upon checking out they had charged us more than what the room rate was, When I questioned it, the same front desk girl once again told me to relax and stop talking. When I reviewed my charges later that day I had been charged over $500.00 when I was only suppose to of been charged 1$172.00. I called the manager and he has continued to ignore my calls. I along with many people from my party have contacted the BBB as well as the Health Department. Save yourself the trouble and spend a little more money and stay at the much nicer hotels in the area.
