Embassy Suites Lexington, Lexington

the hotel was great. the room was great. the food was great. the service was great. the pool was great. i would stay here again.

When I booked this hotel, I thought it would be great for my family to share a suite. My stay here was definitely not great! First, when I turned on the TV, it would not change channels, plus the only remote in the suite would not work either. If you watched TV in the living room area, you had to sit in the floor to change the channels. We had to call maintenance, but still we were not offered another remote control..and maintenance could not fix one of the TVs. Later, when it was time to take a shower, the shower would not work. We had to call maintenance again. No help there either! My daughter has very long hair and it is hard to wash & rinse when bathing. The bedroom area was quite small and the bathroom had wallpaper that was falling off around the commode area. So, while you bathed, you had to look at the hanging wall paper. On another note, the living room furniture was very ugly and all the furniture looked quite cheap! The walls were mostly bare with very few pictures. When I checked out the next morning, the desk clerk asked about our stay & I told her about our problems in the room. I told her that I was very dissatisfied, but she could have cared less. She handed me my receipt & said "Thanks for staying". Overall, I would never stay at this hotel again and would never recommend it to anyone else. Definitely not worth the money!

Don't waste the money on a weekend stay. The nights sleep lost due to the noise isn't worth the lovely room. Note to manager: think curfew.

I'd stayed there on business during the week. But made the mistake of booking a room there on a Saturday night. It seems they're trying to boost weekend occupancy with specials targetted at family getaways. This weekend was full of kids, loud music, pulled fire alarms and knocked on doors. After three hours there, my wife and I left. Our money was refunded. The promised certificate for a free stay at another Hilton family property never arrived. I'll not stay there again.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel (and the towls I took home) Just kidding. It was a really nice hotel and I had a good stay.

Gorgeous hotel, price is reasonable for all the amenities. Breakfast is wonderful and open bar each night is the icing on the cake. We stay at the embassy every time we're in Lexington (several times per year)
