One of San Antonio's best

Service was top notch. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Bottled water is free--if you ask for it someone will bring a few bottles to your room.
Valet service is pricey so parking in garage across street is an option--$15 for unlimited coming and going over 24 hr period or $9 to park and leave within 24 hrs. I stayed 3 nights but was gone all day every day w/car so I just parked 3 times and paid $27.
Riverview rooms are okay but the view is not so spectacular that you really need to be over the river. How the hotel really sets itself apart from the rest is w/cleanliness, spaciousness, and a great bathroom. Bathroom was all marble. My tub was huge--7 ft. The shower was double headed, very nice. The bed was comfy. I'm a little jaded on this subject, however because I sleep w/1000 thread sheets and their beds use 300 count. Sheets are not the most luxurious but they will change them every day while you stay if you'd like. The mattress was especially comfortable. Again, I think I kinda expect a good bed from hotels in which I stay. Bathroom, however, was hard to beat even by top hotels. I'd compare the bathroom to the one I had when I stayed at the Bellagio in Las Vegas.
