Days Inn Goose Creek, Goose Creek

This place is a rip off. Housekeeping not done properly like other hotels, don't change the sheets or even clean properly, or replace towels when checked in there was dirt stains inside tub. I had dyed my hair 2 days before our trip as anyone who has ever dyed their hair knows color will still bleed off when hair gets wet, but will wash off tub when cleaned properly with everyday cleanser & hot water, was accused of causing damage to the tub, & told I may be charged for "repairs'. Was accused of having dog in room by housekeeping and was charged 75.00, when I don't even own a dog. My mother came to the hotel to visit with her dog that she takes everywhere which she did bring into the room as animal stays with her at all times being a SERVICE DOG, we were getting our day planned I get a phone call from the front desk claiming animal was seen by housekeeping 2 hours prior when my mother had just walked in the door 10 minutes earlier. Will never stay at this hotel again and encourage others to do likewise, god forbid if you are a construction worker in town and have to stay at this place and bathe you may end up getting scammed into buying a tub. Their so called continnental breakfast leaves much to be desired, consisting of doughnuts, & bagels nothing warm or fresh what-so-ever. I have stayed at many hotels visiting south carolina, a couple leaving much to be desired and still got more respect, and actual proper housekeeping. If you must stay there bring video camera and tape EVERYTHING before bringing even one item in the room with you, as well record items and all that you have brought with you and intend to keep in the room. And suggest you record daily at least after housekeeping comes in so you are not accused of damaging property, or items in your room that you know for a fact you do not have with you!!! Save yourself the headache and stay somewhere else even if you have to spend a few extra bucks. Matter of fact, go to the Quality Inn just a little further down the road. Never had a problem when visiting and staying there, I made the mistake of trying to change things up a bit

I come here often visiting friends in town. Every time I come here things have improved from their continental breakfast to the rooms. I recently stayed there and the rooms have been redone. I cant wait till I come next time. The front desk is very helpful and courteous.
