Excellent destination choice

My friends and I stayed at the kerry centre for around 8 days in Feb 2005.
I wasn't really sure what to expect as travelling into the city via the main airport I remember it being chaotic, smoggy and almost confused.
It was a dry relatively bright but chilly day.
Drawing into the Hotel in the taxi the first thing that struck me was the hotel security staff, all dressed in the same smart black bomber style jackets.
It seemed to reassure me immediately, I'm not sure why, I think it was a show of strength.
The staff were very polite and wasted no time ushering us into the hotel reception.
The staff were very welcoming, the hotel I thought was first class.
I was really impressed by the gym and pool facilites but most of all I found the manager Mr Attiq Rehman to be a really decent, helpful and friendly person who made a point of speaking to us on many occasions.
A thoroughly decent man who clearly took pride in his hotel, his customers and staff alike.
The hotel restaurants are first class and I particularly enjoyed breakfast time because I could go to the 'egg chef' in the morning and he would make me any and every type of omellete.
Beijing is a weird and wonderful place. You must visit the Country to even begin to ubderstand the sheer size and diversity of the Country.
I loved it and intend to return one day soon.
The hotel for us, was absolutely ideal not least for the reasons I have given but also the fact it was around 30 minutes from the airport and given the size of the Country, this was something of a luxury.
