Edgefield Inn, Edgefield

The Edgefield Inn is a great place to stay for fun or business in this beautiful corner of South Carolina. Super convenient to National Forest recreation spots and the town, which has an incredibly rich history and great antebellum feel. Clean and inexpensive completes the value. Service is always pleasant, not particularly snappy though (as is the norm in this part of the state). No fridges or microwaves in the regular rooms, though, so plan accordingly (I think the "plus" rooms for an extra $6 have them, though).

Every year we attend a Youth Conference in Edgefield and we always stay here. It is right up the street from a Huddle House, McDonald's, Hardee's, Dollar General, Pizza Hut and two gas stations. There are grocery stores and light shopping stores a few streets over. We love it!
