Drury Inn and Suites Greensboro, Greensboro

i absolutely love this hotel because it has great breakfast, tv is great and the best staff. i will definitly be staying there again!!!!!The room service was the best also!! :):):):)

I chose this place because my co-workers have stayed here and said it was a good one. I was mainly worried about safety & the hotel environment since I was travelling by myself, so since they said it was okay, I stayed here. The hotel is in a great location - right across from the mall and down the street from a few restaurants. The hotel itself was okay, it's not a Marriott but it's better than a Motel 6. I didn't go in the pool since I was by myself and I get a little leary about those type of things but the half indoor, half outdoor pool didn't look too inviting. The hotel really markets their "hot buffet breakfast," but I was expecting it to be so much more. The orange juice ran out & didn't get refilled until about 30 minutes later, the eggs & gravy were runny & their belgian waffles were flat and not very tasty. I liked mixed "girly" drinks so I was thinking I could maybe get one at the free beverage service from 5-7, but I couldn't. I thought I could at least get a beer, but not even that. The experience was okay, I would stay there again but it's nothing to brag about.

Nice hotel with thoughtful extras. Free internet access free drinks and food and a nice continental breakfast with lots of choices. Great location lots of places to eat and close to major highway. would stay again

was in greensboro,nc for a symposium.drury was recommended.checkin was smooth .room was very clean.price 69.99 for king size bed with fridge and microwave.included internet access,cable tv ,hairdryer,iron and ironing board.free wine from 5pm-7pm.was unable to have the free breakfast,but it sure smelled good

Once checking out drury inn website, I was thrilled to know there were many amenities such as free long distance,hot breakfast, and free snacks & beverages. But once arriving at hotel, I wasn't too impressed. We were not greeted promptly, and check in process was slow, although several people were behind the desk. Once me and my b/f recieved our room keys, we noticed the cleaning lady was still cleaning our room and we had to wait several minutes.We reserved a non-smoking guest room, but when we went inside the room it smelt like someone was smoking. The room was dark and muggy. The furniture was out-dated and the standing lamp worked, but i was bent and leaning towards the floor. Room was not too appealing. Maybe the presidential suite is better. The bathroom was the most up-dated part of the room, but could of been bigger. Hotel did not make me feel comfrontable. Hotel breakfast was not what I was expecting. The best thing was the scrambled eggs, but the french toast was hard and warm. I would recommend this for a person traveling alone as a one day stay,or families with younger children will enjoy the indoor pool area. However, it is over-priced.

I wish there were these hotels in every single city in America -- they are so clean, the staff is so accomodating, the breakfast is excellent, LOVE the evening snacks and drinks, and the price is unbelievable for everything you get -- even free long distance for an hour!! I've been here twice and can't wait to think of a reason to go to Greensboro again so I can go there again!!
