Comfort Inn Marina, Marina

The staff were very accommodating, the room was clean, we had plenty of towels and hot water . We could not hear any of our neighbors and those we met were quite pleasant. The breakfast selection was perfect for my family of four. This was a very good value.

I stayed at the hotel durning the week for about 6 months. The rooms were always clean, and smelled fine. Breakfast was always on time, simple but good. Nice dining area as well. Most of the rooms I stayed in were very large and great high ceilings.A new Walmart is in walking distance across the street. The people who work there always went out of their for me. They made it feel like a home away from home, I even miss it too . Thanks for the hospitality!

the carpets are bad. the whole place smelled with mildew. the bedding wasn't cleaned. no ice bucket. ants on shower wall. front desk was rude. insects where in the bathroom. strong smell in the bathroom. toliet wasn't flushed. the shower didn't work. went to the front and got my money back.

Wow, was I glad my nose was broken. Those bandages saved my life. Smelled like a cigar lounge on the south side. A little paint would help but first you need the molding not mold.. Cliff... Batavia, New York

Comfort Inn was clean and comfortable. on the outskirts of Monterey (8 miles), but easy access via Hwy 1. Morning breakfast was average but it was on time.

We booked this hotel online without really checking it out. Big Mistake! The carpets were filthy. Many of the baseboards were missing. The elevator safety doors were held open with a towel stuffed in a crack. The whole place smelled like smoke or mildew. The heater in our room belched out such a stench I was worried about lung damage. At "breakfast" (actually cereal, bananas and muffins), we saw one of the attendants smash the trash can contents down with her bare hands -- and them immedately handle the food. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else. Oh - and be sure to check the reviews before you book!

Our experience was very good-----the front desk staff was friendly and efficient, the room was clean, quiet and comfortable (and did not smell like smoke), and the breakfast buffet was adequate. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends.
