Sleep Inn Nashville, Nashville

This hotel was not up to the Choice Hotel Standards. The outside is unkempt. There were guys hanging around out in back of the hotel. We felt very unsafe. They are renovating the hotel from what we are told, but did not see any signs of it on the bottom level. The back entry was dirty. The comforter was very outdated and faded. The trash can out front was overflowing. There is suppose to be a hot breakfast and you had to order through a small little hole in the wall. The door to this room was open when we walked from our room to the breakfast area which really turned me off because it looked very dirty. The lady serving and taking care of the breakfast had a very stained uniform on which again was unappetizing. I did talk with the manage about all of this and he was very apologetic. The price was right, but that was all that I found to be okay. The grass around the hotel also needed to be cut. We did not even receive a newspaper in the morning.

Excellent place to stay for the price! Very easy access and not very far from all the attractions. Staff was very friendly they even gave me band-aids for my blisters( i would not advise wearing brand new shoes walking downtown all night). If i wanted to nit pick the only thing i could come up with is there was only 1 trash can in the room with no trash bag in it. And someone must have walked on the mopped bathroom floor while it was wet because the were dirt shoe prints on it. But, overall great for the price, from now on when we go to Nashvilee for a getaway we will stay here!

Stayed here when my Mom was having major surgery at Skyline Medical Center. The staff was so kind. They asked how my Mother was several times and so kindly told us they hoped all went well the day we were leaving. They checked us in right before 11a.m. and on check out day did not rush us to leave. The room and bathroom were extremely clean. This is a must for me. There was a mini-fridge, a microwave, a coffee maker, an ironing board, an iron and a hair dryer in our room. The price was fantastic. The Sleep Inn is conveniently located. There was McDonalds on one side and Arby's on another with Walgreens and a Waffle house in short walking distance. The continental breakfast included a choice of bagels, english muffins, muffins, instant oatmeal, yogurt, cereal, tea, coffee, orange juice, apple juice, milk and they even cooked us eggs and a sausage. I would definitely stay here again if I had to stay in Nashville.
