Decent motel, but very smoky

Decent motel, but very smoky. Smoking and non-smoking rooms are on the same floor. Thus, when you get off the elevator, the hallway reeks of 2nd-hand smoke. This is something that is not expected in most other parts of the country. Overall, the breakfast area was clean and well-stocked. The property is relatively clean and easy access to the Interstate and local shopping and restaurants. They just need to work on getting the hotel designated a smoke-free business.

Outstanding, friendly customer service

The hotel was fine; no problems whatsoever. The thing that really stood out, though, was the extremely friendly, professional front desk employee. I don't recall ever being welcomed so warmly at check-in. I wish I would have gotten her name to commend her personally. She was a true asset to the organization. The free breakfast was very good, too.
