Hampton Inn Binghamton/Johnson City, Johnson City

I checked in on the 11th of June, and then went to visit with my mom, who lives in the area. I got back to the hotel late, so slept in and did not leave the hotel until 11:00 AM on the following day - just after receiving a note slipped under the door by the hotel services at 10:45 AM, stating that they were unable to clean the room because I had a "do not disturb" sign on the door. I took off the "do not disturb" sign, and left the room at 11:00 AM, I thought that the cleaning service would be back to clean the room after I left. They did not come back. I got back to my room late, around 11:30 to find an unmade bed, and no fresh towels, no coffee for the next morning, etc. I asked the person at the desk for some towels, etc. to tide me over. The person took an hour to find towels and other items - he didn't know where they were kept. I took a shower at 12:30 AM... The next day, however, the hotel stated that because it was their fault for not cleaning the room, and refurbishing towels, etc. they would grant me one free night's stay. But they still forgot the coffee service, cups, glasses for water...on the second day. The continental breakfast was fine, however. C'est la vie...
