We stayed at this hotel for 1 night while driving through town. The stay was excellent on all fronts. Everyone on the staff we met was very friendly and went the extra mile to meet any needs or answer any questions. We requested Towels and they actually took just 5 mins to arrange the towel. There Customer Service was very speedy. Staff was awesome and helpful that saved us a lot of money. The rooms were large and clean. Rooms came with a fridge and microwave and had current appliances and TV. The rooms had well working free Internet wired. The hotel is located near to the University of Kentucky, the Kentucky Horse Park. I would recommend anyone stay here...you won't regret.

What is all the complaints about? Yes, there were a few things that I noticed but they were not as crazy as the ones above were saying. I found a couple of lady bugsing my windowsill. But it was obvious it was that time of year for all bugs to find warmeth. Besides isn't that what you did when yous stopped at the hotel anyway. The hotel can't help all. The deal with the towls...... When I was there I went to the pool and there were plenty of towels. The next day there was more people so naturally there were less towels. The bed's were nothing but the BEST. No springs nowhere. They were SERTA mattresses. Come on people! As far as the burn marks on bed I don't see why. This country inn prides itself in being ta smoke and pet free facility. They are not going to go to the extremes on charging a fee to make sure this is not abused. Just to leave a burnt stained spread on their bed. I just don't see it. The staff at this hotel. is MAGNIFICENT!!!! If any problems existed I am sure they would of went above and beyond to make it right. AS FOR THE CARPETS------ because the guest don't treat other people's property as they would their own------ this is what happens. After awhile even constant cleaning willl not reverse the condition of a constantly abused carpet. But to country inn staff, it is time to get new carpets. All the other prettiness means nothing when the inside work is not done. I see most of your guest concerns are focused on the carpet so let's just start with that next. Regardless of it all I will always return because nowhere else have i been so comfortable. They truly make you feel at home. If you had never been here before you would never know it. They treat and talk to you like you are a guest that has never left. I love COUNTRY INN & SUITES. Plus they have cookies.

the room smelled like smoke and burn marks through out the room. there was a dead bug in the bed. the room wasm't cleaned up by housekeeping. the bed was hard and had box springs were exposed. ther whirlpool when you turn it on it came out in white stuff. a/c only worked in the bathroom. i wouldn't stay here again.

After searching for hours for a hotel to stay at we picked this one. It was a nice clean place.. The hotel staff was wonderful and helpful. The breakfast was fine. Could of offered more fruit but after all it was included. The beds we nice however the room had a musty smell from the AC but we have had this also at a fancy MORE expensive hotel. The pool was a nice thing for the kids to spend time at. If you want a GREAT meal go FAVAS in George Town for Frickers..( ON MAIN STREET) Fried pickles..and CATFISH.... They were suggested to us and Im glad we tried them. The whole family loved them.. Antiques are here too!

When we arrrived at this hotel we were pleased at the appearance. It seemed neat, well kept, and clean. The lobby looked nice as well. But then we went to our room...YUCK! There were big, gross stains on the carpet, and it seemed outdated and dirty. The room was sparce. Not one picture hung on the walls and furniture was minimal. Our friends traveling with us felt the same way. They didn't even feel comfortable sleeping in the bed! I would not ever stay at this hotel again!
