Unfair Golf Charges
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/8/10
We played the golf course in early October and while it is indeed beautiful and challenging, we were charged a full price when we were not permitted to take our carts to our golf shots. While I understand the course received a substantial amount of rain, having to keep the carts on the path for the entire 18 was a pain and unrealistic. Many of the sand bunkers were holding water and those that weren't were as hard as concrete. My complaint is not with the staff or the beauty of the course but rather with the fact were charged full price when the golf experience was considerably less than that. We should have been given a break due to course conditions. In addition, our wives rode along but did not play and we were charged extra for their carts. This alone should have been a "break" in our charges as all they did was ride the cart on a golf path all day. Very disappointing to be charged as we were for a golf experience that was considerably less than a full one.

Had a wonderful stay!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/9/09
The suite was spacious, beds were extremely comfortable, the staff was very pleasant and helpful. We dined in the restaurant and had a wonderful dinner with excellent service, then had the breakfast brunch 2 days later and found the same great food and service. The hostess even filled my thermos cup with ice for me in the morning. The girl on duty at the snack bar by the pool went out of her way to serve my 3 grandchildren who were swimming and using the hot tub. The view is incredible. The staff at the desk only to willing to answer questions or make reservations for jeep tours for us. I can't recall staying in a more welcoming hotel. Would love to return! Definitely worth the cost.

Oh so so disappointing
By Two Dog, 8/28/08
We booked reservations here expecting to find everything up to "Hilton Standards". We were so mistaken. We were ened up on the 3rd floor which reeked with cigarette smoke and this is supposed to be a smoke free establishment. Our bathroom was dirty and needed maintenance work and a good scrubbing. We never figured out if it was mildew or tons of dirt on the shower control. There isn't any place to hang your towel or robe near the shower. I guess they expect you to lay it on the floor or on the toilet. It seems that a towel rack or robe hook on the back of the shower door wouldn't be asking too much, after all this is the Hilton. The "Grille" and the bar are not very good either. The bartender was useless and had to be asked several times to get another drink even though there was only 6 people in the whole bar. The whole place needs cleaning and the attention of a good maintenance crew. By the lack service, cleanliness and the cigarette smell, the lack of poolside amenities, you'd think this was the Motel 6 not the Hilton. Can't even rate this Hotel as a 1 Star. What a shame. Have tried contacting both Sedona Hilton and Corporate without any response. Too bad, I guess they really don't care about their guests afterall. The lap pool that is listed on their website isn't even at the Hotel but "across the street'", "you'll need to drive over there". The "Cascading Pool" isno bigger than a backyard pool. It too isn't the one pictured on their website. There are only a few lounge chairs so good luck trying to find a place to sit beside the pool.

Not worth the $$$
By Vivien, 5/25/08
we stayed here during the first weekend of may, '08, and the hotel and its offerings were really quite average. we were locked out of our room no less than 3 times during our stay, because they were having computer problems. these problems also delayed our check-in. apparently, the housekeeping staff doesn't understand do not disturb signs, as they tried to get in a couple of times in the early morning when we were asleep. the food at their grill was quite average as well. the hotel and the rooms are smaller than you might think based on the website, and you're a good 20 mins away from everything in town. you're better off staying in town where there are lots of places with better food. overall, not worth the price.

Outstanding Hotel
By Bear Fan, 2/18/08
My wife and I stayed here for two days and nights. We arrived in town early and our room was available well before check in time. The front desk and bell staff were the very best. Our room was fantastic with a Red Rock view. Everything was fresh and new. The linens and towels were top of the line. We had wo TV's a microwave and dining table and chairs. The staff provided directions and suggestions that were outstanding. This is the best place to stay in Sedona.

Front Desk Service is Terrible
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/1/07
Hotel accomodations are clean and new. Front desk service is terrible and they ruined our stay here. The pool is not what you'd expect - small and cold. The ads look better than it really was. The price we paid was too much for what we got. Suggest you stay in town - highly over-rated.

Gorgeous Resort
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/8/07
Pool outstanding - including view. Room was outstanding - clean, spelled good, cool a/c, beautiful decor in room and hotel. Didn't eat at restaraunt. Front desk friendliness needs improvement. Would return....gorgeous area.

Awesome view
By Threedegrees, 12/7/06
The view from my east facing hotel room was one of the most awe-inspiring views that I have ever had in a hotel room. Bell Rock and other red rock bluffs tower over Oak Creek and are only a little over a mile away. Well kept and modern. The only drawback was the 10 mile drive to Sedona, but that was ok because every bend in the road provided an new and amazing vista.
