the room was comfortable and clean i will diffently go back and stay here. everyone was helpful and always cheery. i was there for one week and was very satisfied with everything.

Won't even waste my time...

With myself & my husband having 6 kids & 5 grandkids, I've been looking for a room where we can get a hot tub & just get away for the night but where we can take our laptops to play poker. After reading these reviews, I won't even try this hotel. I'm not up for cockroaches or ignorant people. This isn't the ideal getaway for us. I'm sorry you had such a bad experience.

Don't do it

We are race fans and have made many reservations at different nearby hotels/Inns over the years. This year a group of friends decided to stay at Best Western Berlin. My cousing and I made reservations for 2 room each. The lady was very nice quoted us 69/night for double room. A month before the race I called to confirm and they had cancelled my reservation to give to someone else. Once I ask to verify my cousin room they MANAGER told me she had to room and that she had called 15 days prior to cancel my reservation. He took a room from her reservation and reserve one under my name each room for 89/night for each one of us. He said they have had many problems and confusion for the particular weekend. They will not get a penny from me.

A little different

My experience was different from the other poster. I found them to be very friendly and efficient. They held my room till late at night even tho they could rented it out to someone else when I was a couple hours late for check-in. While it's nowhere near the nicest place I've ever stayed, the room was clean, the bedding was clean and fresh, and the carpet and walls were in very good shape. I saw no cockroaches, or any bugs for that matter. For the price, it wasn't a bad deal. In fact, I'm making another reservation to stay there again this weekend.

Insect Attraction

The customer service was horrible the second we stepped through the doors. We were greeted by man who said angrily that we should have known there were no elevators. The rooms appeared to be clean, but once in the bathroom you would believe differently. There were exactly four cockroaches that we found crawling on the walls. The window was broken and would not close. When we had asked customer service about the bug problem, he simply replied "What do you want me to do about it?" When asked for extra towels and pillows, we were only given one of each. Our doors would not lock when we tried to leave the rooms, customer service told us we were wrong very rudely and found out themselves that the doors did NOT lock. I do not recommend this place to anyone.(Unless you don't mind bugs)
