Fairfield Inn Suites by Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront, Virginia Beach

Great hotel, nice clean rooms, excellent breakfast in the morning, right on the beach. The pool isnt that clean most of the day because the kids come from the beach and swim and it gets loaded down with sand, but theres a whole ocean outside to swim in!! Really clean beaches, too. Just a great place, highly recommended.

Everything was very nice. The place was clean, as were the rooms and the halls. The location was very good; right next to the beach. They had a nice buffet breakfast; it was free. Not the usual bagels and coffee many places have. They had a pretty good selection of foods. Service was very good; no problems at all. Best place I've yet stayed in. I'll be back.

Only Dislike: Parking on upper levels requires stairs or the ramp itself to get to the lobby. Likes: (in no particular order) Rooms are CLEAN and roomy (only 2 of us). Elevators are quick! Staff is SUPER!!! Location on the beach, but (for us older people), not so close to the action. HOT and cold breakfast. (Sausage & Eggs, YAY!) WI-FI. We will stay here again. --Mike Jackson

This hotel was asome. Why? Because it was great to have a fitness center looking straight at the beach and then going to the contenetail breakfast was nice. I also liked the indoor pool because the one day it was thundering and lighting out and super hot. We liked the rrom service, the balconies. What we didn't like was that we couldn't stay longer.

The service was horrible!! There were stains in my sheets and they refused to change them. This was my honeymoon and me and my new husband had to sleep on the floor for the first night! Our room service was cold! and the desk clerk was very rude!

This hotel was excellent for the price. The free wireless internet was a great, and allowed me to plan sightseeing adventures and tourist attractions. The hotel is located in a great area, with many gift shops, and a nice board walk behind the hotel for taking a morning run, or just walking along the beach. The king size guest room was very spacious, and gave my 15 mo old plenty of room to run around. The hotel was very clean, and the staff was very friendly and courteous. The front desk always seemed to recommend great places to eat at, whether a sit down restaurant, or delivery. The amenities was very nice. The fitness center wasn't that big, just mainly cardio workout. I spent 21 to 25 Mar 05. I was very impressed with the room, and the rate was very economical. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are wanting to stay right on the beach. The scenic ocean view from the balcony was very nice when winding down in the evening. And having a couch in the room was nice when you just wanted to kick back and relax for awhile. I would definitely stay here again.

Exceptional value at $49.00 for an ocean front room overlooking the Virginia Beach Boardwalk.
