Description

Le Meridien Bora Bora is approximately 20 minutes by private launch from the Bora Bora airport and five minutes by boat from the main island Bora Bora. Guests will need to fly into Papeete International Airport in Tahiti, then take a domestic flight to Bora Bora. Air transportation to this island may be made by contacting Air Tahiti at 011 689 86 4242. Built on the southern point of Motu Piti Aau, a six-mile islet on the coral reef, the hotel offers an unsurpassed view of the world-renowned Mount Otemanu. Across the lagoon stands the impressive Mount Pahia with the pretty village of Vaitape at its base. Guests can enjoy the game room, gardens, outdoor swimming pool, Le Tipanie (overlooking the interior lagoon), Le Te Ava (poolside), and Miki Miki Bar (designed like the prow of a ship, pointing toward Mount Otemanu) with live music. Outrigger canoeing, snorkeling, scuba diving, sailing, windsurfing, shark and ray feeding, deep-sea fishing, jet-skiing, parasailing, and horseback riding can all be easily arranged. A unique feature of Le Meridien Bora Bora is its Turtle Sanctuary. A special program has been implemented to ensure the successful release of the turtles into the ocean. The hotel also offers 24-hour front desk and concierge services, airport courtesy bus and private boat transfer, babysitting service, bellman and porter, currency exchange, laundry service, room service, and a tour desk. The hotel has 85 over-water bungalows and 15 beach bungalows. All units have hairdryers, minibars, modem jacks, cable TV, safes, and tea and coffee-making facilities. Absolutely amazing!!
By ,
From as soon as we got on the boat that took us to Le Meridien, we could tell that this would be an amazing trip. Service was fantastic - we got a complimentary drink upon arrival, and we got a very brief tour of where things were in the hotel. All the people working at the hotel were eager to stop and chat with you - and the people at the beach hut were absolutely hillarious!! Our room was lovely - we stayed in a beach bungalow and I really recommend this - the lagoon was just a few steps away from our door with turtles swimming right up to the waters edge - we also had our own plunge pool!! The turtles swimming around in the lagoon were so cute - you can't help but smile at them! Food was great - both the buffet and A la carte dinner were fantastic - witht the desserts being a highlight!! (the buffet desserts were amazing and the hot soft chocolate cake at a la carte was the best dessert I've ever had!!) There were many free activities available at the hotel - and the people were also willing to teach me how to wind surf free of charge!! However the highlight of our trip was the shark and ray feeding. Not only did we get to swim with sharks, and touch stingrays, but they also took you to the coral gardens where you see a number of tropical fish!! It doesn't matter if you are afraid of sharks and rays - I have been terrified of them for my whole life, but with everyone else around you it feels very safe and it is an amazing experience. If you are planning to do this activity, I recommend that you do it through Le Meridien, because the people who do the trip are really great - they are so friendly and absolutely hillarious!! Overall our trip was just amazing - and we really recommend the Le Meridien - we don't think it was the most upmarket hotel, however the people and the great feel you got ever since arriving was just wonderful and our room was great. (It is very expensive but worth it!!)

Best week of my entire life
By ,
I stayed at Le Meridien Bora Bora for half of my two week honey moon and it truly was the best time of my entire life. This place is amazing, it is not cheap but if you have the money it is well worth the trip. The water is perfect. The hotel was well maintained. The food was good (you are on an island in the middle of no where eat the fish not the burger). The one down side is there was construction going on to build a new pool and it was a little loud by beach at times. Bora bora = paradise.

The Final Touch on a South Pacific Fantasy
By ,
Finishing a month in the South Pacific with a couple of days in Bora Bora was the best idea that we had. The hotel was fabulous and staff far exceeded anything we had experienced on the trip. Crystal clear water and swining with the turtles is a once in a lifetime experience.

Best Beach Vacation Ever!
By ,
Everything was amazing! The staff, the accomadations, everything. The only downfall was costs. Everything costs a little more than expected but that's what you get for going somewhere in the middle of nowhere. It was a trip of a lifetime and would go back in a heartbeat.

The water was soo blue and clear, the staff was so nice as well as your own family and more. we stayed in the bugloos over the water the only dislike was when the golf cart for room service rolled down the ramp very shacky and noise. Other then that if there is a Heaven on earth it is here at Le Meridien Bora Bora,we did the snorkle shark and sting ray swim, swam with the turtles in the lagoon.Awe man the best time of my life,The french do it a little different as for the topless thing, they don't care anywhere just pop'em out.wow. Food was great do the buffet,Al la Carte maybe once or twice. Ote Manu was a great trip also we saw the Island in a land criuser and we saw it by boat. The rooms were comfortable and clean nice, glass floor you can see down to the water.Kyak, paddle boat sunset cruise. The best drink Taaha..Ask for Meava..Chao..
