I've never had an experience like this before...

We chose this place because we needed an extended stay (6-10 weeks) lodging arrangement at an ecomnomical price. We didn't get it.
The price varied from one desk attendant to another. TThe average age of attendants was aroung 20,and most couldn't quote a rate or compute a price with tax.Several became so defensive when approached with a previously quoted rate they were rude. One became so angry she was verbally abusive to us, and then stormed away in tears. After having made the extended reservation, made payment, and checked the arrangements three times, we received a call at the end of our first week, telling us we hadn't paid our bill, had violated checkout time, and would be evicted forthwith, as no rooms were available. Our protests and attempts to explain and to show our confirmed reservations were interrupted, rejected, and shouted over by both the young clerk and the manager, who also threatened to throw us out because she didn't like it when people got angry. It required calls to the national headquarters, where we were asked about the situation, listened to, and had the original reservations checked, to settle the problem. The outrageous rudeness generated a feeling that didn't go away, and we left as early as possible. We were supposed to be guests here!
P.S.--despite advertising, NO internet service, NO cable--just (expensive) dialup and broadcast TV.
