Can't wait to go back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/27/10
They newly renovated rooms are spacious, with jacuzzi, fridge and microwave, and soft bathrobes. The hotel was clean, staff was very accommodating. Sal, the chef, was friendly and had a variety of breakfast items each day. CLose to uptown Sedona, but not in the busy area, which made it more relaxing. Would definitely recommend.

We will never stay there again!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/7/08
When we arrived, we were told that the crib we reserved was broken and we'd have to wait until the next day to get one. Needless to say, we had a sleepless night and were exhausted the next day. The accommodations were mediocore (between a Motel 6 and a Best Western), and the room smelled like mold and mildew. The 2nd night we had a crib, which made for a better night's sleep. However, the 3rd night we returned to the hotel at 9:30 p.m. and were unable to get into our room because the keyless entry wasn't working! After MANY failed attempts by the hotel staff to open the door, they gave us another room at about 11:30. The new room had dead cockroaches in the bathroom; there wasn't a crib (the only one was in our other room); and we didn't have our luggage. We had to run out in the middle of the night to buy more diapers and formula. After another sleepless night, the staff was able to pry the door open the next morning in a matter of minutes. We had asked them to try this the night before, but they said that they didn't want to disturb the other guests. We had very little time to take showers and pack before we had to check out and drive to the Phoenix airport. We almost missed our plane! When we checked out, the staff was very unsympathetic to our situation. They offered us $50 off of our bill, a $50 gift certificate to use toward our next stay, and they still charged us for the crib. We were completely insulted! We told them that we weren't going to pay for even 1 night's stay and they could keep their gift certificate because we would never stay there again. The staff told us that we needed to look at the situation from their perspective because their jobs were "on the line" and they were stuck in the middle between us and the Owner. After we explained to them that the Owner will have a lot more to lose than the amount of our hotel bill when we report them to the Better Business Bureau and Sedona's City of Commerce, they finally agreed to not charge us for our stay. We hope this helps you in making your decision on choosing a hotel in Sedona. We hope you have a great experience wherever you stay. Sedona is such a beautiful and amazing place to visit.

Amazing!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/21/08
We stayed here in 2006 and thought the customer service was quite good, so we decided to stay again last week. The hotel looks NOTHING like it did before. Everything in the rooms is completely new! Down bedding, temperedic pillows, carpet, drapes, Plasma TVs. We stayed in a Coffeepot Suite and even had a granite jacuzzi in the room. The lobby was just being completed when we stayed but it looked beautiful! The manager told us they were adding some new things like a business center and gift shop. The chef omelet breakfast for $5 per person was an amazing deal and delicious too! I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this hotel to anyone!

Not worth it!
By Amy, 4/25/07
We recently stayed here for the second time and were very disappointed. We were charged $180 for what is essentially a $70 room. The "junior suite" was listed as having a king bed, which was really 2 twins joined with a large indentation in the middle, and our "mountain view" was a view of an alleyway between two buildings. The jacuzzi tub is bright green plastic and sits in the middle of the bedroom, not in the bathroom. Overall, the room was dingy and plain in decoration. When we gave our feedback at checkout, the staff was not accomodating or understanding. This hotel should lower their rate dramatically to more accurately reflect what you actually get when you stay here.
