Comfort Inn Monroe, Monroe

Thanks so much for all your help! We had a great stay this past week. The kids enjoyed breakfast and the pool so much. Staff was friendly and helpful! Rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable.

Staying at the Comfort Inn Hotel in Monroe, Michigan of I-75 Exit 11 Laplasiance Road is something I will be doing again and again. The location is great. Just off the exit and close to town where everything is. Not to mention there's an Outlet Mall right across the street along with Wendy's and McDonald's. In front of the hotel is a Marathon Gas Station with a Taco Bell inside and Burger King on one side. They are within walking distance. The girls at the front desk are so friendly and treated my family and myself wonderfully. I was traveling with my soon to be husband and our son. I mentioned while checking in how my son and I like to eat strawberry and banana yougart in the morning. Well, I get up to go downstairs for breakfast and the girl comes up to me with some yougart and said, "Here these are for you we got these for you and your son for breakfast. I was so surprised. They really listen to your needs to make sure your stay is satisfactory. We came to this hotel to get away from home, go into town, go shopping, and see a movie. Then relax back at our Jacuzzi suite. We went to The Mall of Monroe for shopping and the Movie Theater inside. They have a Coach House Gift store, Claire's, Sears, Bath & Body, EB Games, Target, Radio Shack, and more. We ate ate the Chinese place then got a cookie from Mrs. Fields. They have a Taco Bell, Pretzel place, Olga's, and a Saborro's also. To get there from the hotel just take a left onto Laplasiance Road. Then just past the tracks is Dunbar Road. You wanna make a left there. Then you will reach a light. That's Monroe Street. Take a right. Its about 10 to 15 minutes away, or less. It's on the left side of the road. Past K-mart and Walgreen's. Also, as you are going there look around cause on the way there's plenty of places to eat and shop. The hotel is under new management. They are remodeling the hotel now. Change is good. Making the place even better than before. It takes a lot of time and money to do something like that so that means they really care about this hotel and the guests that stay here. Since they are remodeling the Pool, hot tub, fitness center and game room aren't open yet. They will be open when they are done remodeling them. But when they do open I will be back. The pool is going to be open 24 hours. That's Awesome! They have internet access in all the rooms. Not to mention a business center with a computer for guests to use. They have rooms with King size beds, jacuzzi's,and kitchenettes. All rooms have microwaves, TV's, mini refridgerators, a coffe maker, and hair dryer in the bathroom. There's a Free Continental breakfast in the morning. I will enjoy seeing all the new remodeled rooms when they are done. They started wallpapering and putting new tile on the floor in the lobby and breakfast area. So far looks good.
