Dont deal with sweet TONY-I mean Toni

September 24-25th weekend we chose to stay at the wingate INN SINCE It was listed as the host hotel FOR OUR GIRLS FASTPITCH TOURNEY. HURRICANE RITA was predicted to hit the area on That Sunday morning the 25th(which it did)And the softball tourney officials decided to make it a one day (Sat 24TH)tourney and play throughout the day/night until finished for the safety of the kids, a wise move. I called the hotel at 4:15 central time and ask they sell our rooms,BRANDON,the desk manager at the time was VERY polite and said he could not cancel the reservation, but I asked he try and sell the rooms of mine and the coach. After thinking about the time the tourney was going to get over and our 2 hour drive back to indiana I called to see if i could still get my room and BRANDON HAD SOLD THE ROOM(S)-So I thanked him and decided then I had no choice but to drive home at 2AM. Then on MONDAY MORNING I WOKE UP TO MY CREDIT CARD BEING CHARGED and called TON-I WITH AN i AND ASKED HIM WHAT WAS UP- HE WAS BASICALLY WAS HATEFUL to me until I calmed him down and told me he would refund me-WHICH HE DID but he said NO-ONE ELSE WOULD BE REFUNDED that cancelled-EVEN THOUGH THEY SOLD ALL THE ROOMS to other guests!!!!!ETHICS?? I GOT MY money back by dealing with Toni but YOU MAY NOT!! I have friends that have not!!
