Super 8 Cave City, Cave City

Our 10 year old daughter correctly identified what part of the body the comforter smelled like - you guys need to wash those more often than once per week. After an uncomfortable night with no a/c I was told by the GM that my a/c unit was new. .looked about 30 years old. All in all, a bad stay. We will return to the area, but will stay somewhere else. There are too many choices to settle for this place. . I called back and spoke to the GM and he had a chance to make it right but didn't. Miserable night away from home with no A/C and he offers me a $10 refund :) Thanks but I'll spend my travel dollars at a place that appreciates business and takes pride in customer service!

we were pleased with our stay at super 8 motel . very friendly and polite at front desk. we went for the weekend and when i left i forgot something in room when we got home i called them and in 4 days i had my package in the mail i was very pleased and we will stay at this motel.

Based on the description of the hotel and the price we thought we had found a deal. Boy were we wrong! It started off with the unfriendly check in staff. The next problem was the broken refrigerator in the room. It was then followed by a very cold shower since we had no hot water. A flat sheet on the bed instead of a fitted sheet on the bed made it awkward for sleeping since every time you moved the bedding came off. And the kicker for my husband was that there was no remote for the TV. So much for a stress free relaxing stay! The only good parts of the stay was that the room was some what clean and the friendly staff on duty when we checked out.

She was very unfriendly and not nice at all. It says alot about a place by the people you have working for you.

The room was very nice and clean. Very good rates. Staff was very friendly and helpful The city not that big so everything (caves,food,entertainment)was close by. We stayed for 2 days breakfast could have been better but it was a continentil breakfast so you know how that goes. They had no guest laundry mat which we would have used had to go a local laundry mat which was very nasty. Overall a great place would stay there again.

It was close to restaurants and the caves. I would stay here again. Registration was easy in and out. We only stayed one night, but I could stayed longer to explore more at the caves if I ahd time.

Our room had two holes in the wall from door being slammed into ajoining wall, toilet was loose, Not the seat, the whole thing was loose from the floor, the main light was out and thats all I can remember that needed to be fixed.

Very clean, quiet. The continental breakfast was very good, lobby and breakfast area were clean and comfortable. Room was spacious, beds were comfortable. They have a nice pool, its a little small, but its clean and nice. Hotel was simple to find, right off the I-65 exit and close to everything. We had no complaints!

It was moderately clean. The free continental breakfast was bland: cereal, generic toast, and coffee. No fruit, yogurt, waffles. The people at the front desk were helpful and friendly.

Overall it was... OK at best, we found dried up fudge on the carpet, a pop can, dirty blood testing strips on floor, and rooms were very dark. Rates were good, but remember you get what you pay for.
