It was close to all eateries & the downtown area. We had never stayed in a Bed & Breakfast before until this one. We will be back. We had a wonderful time & experience. I would also like to take this time to thank yall for a wonderful time & experience. We can say that yall were very informative about the surroundings. Once again thank yall for showing us a great time.

Everything you could want and more
By Luv2Teach, 02/25/07
We stayed in the Carriage House (also known as the Barn) while in San Antonio for a conference! It was perfect! The house was very cozy, clean, and was within walking distance to everything! The fridge was stocked with breakfast foods and snacks! Great hospitality. I have highly recommended this bed and breakfast to my friends and can't wait to take another trip to San Antonio so I can stay there again.

Brackenridge House is A+++
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/14/06
If you want a true San Antonio experience you MUST stay with Bennie and Sue at the Brackenridge House. They are so hospitable and will take the time to tell you where all the best places to go are. Then there are the beautiful rooms that are beautifully furnished and stocked with everything you need. The Brackenridge is a short and lovely walk to the river or you can always take a trolly for 80 cents. Stay at the Brackenridge house...you will not be disappointed.

So glad we stayed at the Brackenridge!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/07/05
You couldn't ask for more hospitalble innkeepers! Bennie and Sue are the ultimate hosts, friendly and helpful and so very nice. The three-course breakfast every morning is filling and delicious. Located in the Historic King William District, the b&b is just two blocks from the Riverwalk, and it takes about 20 minutes to walk downtown. Be sure to take the walking tour to see the lovely homes built circa 1870.
