Nicer motels nearby
By brenda, 08/08/09
We came in with Dixie Youth expecting to be welcomed. Not at this motel. Every question we asked was answered,"I don't know" There is a fathom manager who was out of town during one of the heaviest bookings I suspect they have seen. Pool is filthy with two pieces of broken chairs. You would not use the pool at all. Unfriendly staff who did not seem to care if we stayed or not. We wre told two different rates and of course have to pay the higher one. Not much for breakfast offered. Several nicer hotels nearby. Some of our group moved to one of them.

dont stay unless absolutely necessary
By Joshua, 08/12/08
the room stunk...the housekeeping was loud outside everyday...noone was friendly...carpet needs more than vacuuming...the breakfast consisted of bagels, toast, apples, juice, coffee, and english muffins...right next to oil rigs...people yelling at night and being a woman, i was uncomfortable to go out to my car at night

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/24/08
THAT THE HOUSEKEEPING DIDN'T EVEN FOLD THE CLEAN TOWELS THEY GAVE ME. THEY DIDN'T CHANGE THE SHEETS EVERYDAY THEY NEVER REFILLED MY COFFEE PACKETS OR CLEANED THE COFFEE POT AND I WAS THERE FOR LIKE 5 DAYS VERY UGLY SCENERY LIKE A OIL PUMP RIGHT OUTSIDE THE PLACE THE CONTENTAL BREAKFAST WAS OKAY I HAVE TO GIVE IT THAT AS ONE OF ITS POSITIVE POOINTS

The lady with the very short white hair,,,
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/28/07
Acts like "better than thou". I was treated like she was doing me a great favor. She treated me like dirt because I'm a working man and I probably make a lot more money than she does. I paid for this room, she didn't. She was so nervous and shaking so bad she could barely check me in. She acted like she didn't know what she was doing. The rooms were very clean and the maids were a joy to come in contact with.

Night clerk is rude and abusive
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/06/06
Her name is Dorothy Gatewood and she is atrocious. She is a liar and patronizes the guests on a daily basis. There is not enough room here to explain everything that happened during my stay but I can assure you, she will ruin your visit at this hotel. Stay elsewhere!
