McKinley Creekside Cabins, Denali National Park

We enjoyed our stay in McKinley Creek, it was a great location, staff was very helpful, we had 3 adult kids and two adult parents. Laundry facilities would have made it a little easier but overall excellent stay

We enjoyed our two-night stay in a creekside cabin. Very nicely decorated (the modern bed was a little high to get onto!) . I was impressed they provided very large, professional size bottles of shampoo and conditioner - much more economical that supplying guests with the individual sachets. Very conveniently located to Denali Park entrance and less than 10 minute drive to the start of the Kantishna Wilderness Trail tour, which they suggested. The on-site cafe was convenient and we felt, the prices were reasonable for the area. We would stay there again should be go back North to Alaska!

The location of the cabin was great. In the quiet mountains right next to the river and conveniently located just south of DNP entrance, away from the noise and hundreds of other tourists. The cabin was great but would have been a better if it had a small fridge and maybe even a microwave. Without these, it is hard to keep food and make meals. This forces you to use the cafe located out front of the cabins for almost every meal or snack. Don't get me wrong, the food was awesome and staff was great. Great breakfast and hearty home cooked meals for dinner but everything is way overpriced. If you have a cooler and maybe a grille/stove, you could get away with saving some money on food and making a meal or two for yourself. With nothing nearby though you would have to bring everything with you. Great trip and would highly recommend staying here. Just be prepared to spend some extra money on meals.

Imagine sitting in a terrace and hearing the water running down a creek and the breeze ruffling through the leaves away from all daily stresses and noises...This is what you will find here. Only 15 minutes away from the entrance to the Denali National Park, the cabins are rustic but comfortable. An added plus is you get to eat great home cooked food.

Clean, Beautiful, Relaxing and a great value!!! Plus - food was excellent and they had free Wifi to upload all my gorgeous pictures! Couldn't have asked for more!

This was our first trip to Denali and we are so very glad we chose McKinley Creekside Cabins. The cabin was very clean, the queen size bed was very comfortable, and being along the creek was so peaceful. The Cafe had wonderful food and the staff were some of the friendliest we met during our stay in Alaska. We will definately stay here when we visit Denali again. Thank you to everyone at McKinley Creekside Cabins for making our stay so wonderful.

We stayed here for two nights while visiting Denali on our honeymoon. Chris in the office was very helpful and our stay was enjoyable. We had breakfast and dinner at the cafe out front and left pleased with the service and the meal. I would have giving it a 5 rating for location but the 13 mile drive up to Denali park entrace got old quick. Overall we loved the place.

The cabins have a rustic feel, they are clean and comfortable providing your basic needs. The food and service at the restaurant was excellent and very reasonable. It is a relaxing and friendly place to stay while visiting the park and we will stay there again. After a long day visiting the park it was very relaxing sitting on the cabin deck listening to the creek.

This was a very nice place to stay while visiting the Denali area. They had great food at the restaurant and the staff were extremely helpful. The room was somewhat basic, but cute, comfortable and clean. I would recommend Creekside Cabins.
