Never again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/27/11
The hotel was overun by teenage boys sports teams. The pool and breakfast were overtaken by them. Horrible. We even got a prank phone call in the middle of the night from one of them. The manager said he would call us when we got home and make it right. He never did. I called Marriott to complain and am still waiting for a response. Don't stay here. And shame on Marriott. Payed the most ever for a hotel and was the worst stay ever. I have loved Mariott hotels in the past and will be reassesing if my family will be staying at their hotels in the future.

Wonderful Stay
By Marco Esquandolas, 3/20/07
A great place to stay, the staff is friendly and very approachable, and the prices are not bad at all. Especially for the park and fly plan with a one night stay, which I chose. Close to the airport (about a 10-15 minute shuttle ride) and a safe, secure place to park your car for the duration of your travels. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and there are places to eat and shop very close by. Altogether a wonderful place, for my short stay.

Excellent for Pirates/Steelers fans
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/10/06
Great location if you're going to a game - hotel is right across the street from PNC Park and about a 3 minute walk from Heinz Field. Also very close to Carnegie Science Center, SportsWorks and Warhol Museum. Hotel is typical Marriott quality and all Springhill Suites look the same. The room is big enough for a family of four. Pool was fine for our visit; plenty of towels and staffed with a lifeguard. Small hot tub too. Staff was very friendly and breakfast is typical for a suite hotel. Only drawback is being so close to the ball parks, you are surrounded by bars and pubs, and maybe some rowdy fans on game day.
