2 times a year I drive from WY to MI and back and the whole trip I dream about the beds. With such a long trip you start looking at hotels on the way and get so tired that you just want to stop. But I don't. It is worth the wait to sleep in one of their beds. I drive 3 states to get to this Microtel. The manager at the desk is such a nice lady. Very professional and kind. I enjoy this place very much. The rates are reasonable too. I stayed in 308.

My family and I stayed one night at the Microtel at Onalaska a little over a week ago. The front desk was wonderful and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfy and we enjoyed our stay. The only drawback was the front counter help the morning we checked out, he was filling the breakfast nook and didn't even acknowledge my existence when I stood at the front desk waiting to check out. I waited for 10 minutes until he finally finished everything he was doing and decided to wait on me. No apology, no nothing... other than that... all was good.

I have been coming to the Onalaska Microtel every weekend for nearly two years on business and found them to be unfailingly hospitable, easy to work with, and just plain nice. It's probably why you need to get your reservations in early because the word is out and a lot of people want to stay at this hotel.
