Lacks Professional Hospitality

When I arrived, the 2 people behind the desk were not very professional. One gal looked like she was babysitting at work as she had a toddler behind the desk and there were other kids shrieking in the lobby. The young guy working was wearing a windbreaker over his polo and couldn't tell if he just blew in for his shift or was on his way out the door. Desk staff was young and unpersonable, no smiles. Phone contact was short and unfriendly. When I'd asked for a late checkout, I was only allowed 1/2 hour for some reason. Then, when I was about to leave, the desk actually called me and asked if I 'was leaving pretty soon'. When I walked out of the door, stuff was all over the hallway and no one was working (I assume at lunch), so I know there was work that could've been done first. When I checked out, the young girl at the desk saw me but didn't come to assist me, I had to ask her for help. Nobody asked if I enjoyed my stay. Young people on staff with no warmth or service skill.....too bad. Property is nice. No cookies out the entire time I was there, only an empty plate.....made me feel like the boss was away and the the staff was at play...
I work for Carlson and this is not the attitude we have at our desk.
