Double booking!!!

Made my reservations a month before arrival. Arrived in the evening and found they had overbooked the hotel and my room was not available. Made up some excuse that the military took my king size bed and jacuzzi tub for themselves due to the weather and their flight was delayed. They likely hoped that we wouldn't show up so they could bill us for a no show and receive another room charge. Never attempted to call us to inform us of "their situation". The clerk got us a room at the Holiday Inn across the highway, but didn't bother to tell us it was a double bed. By then we were too tired to care and took it. Will never go to a Hampton Suites again.

A Great hotel

This hotel was wonderful. The beds were so comfortable. Also, clean and the breakfeast was amazing. I will be going again and again.

Good Deal in Portsmouth, NH

I stayed at the Hampton Inn for three nights in December of 2007. I used just about all of their facilities. The pool was clean, the beds were comfortable, the room and bathroom was spacious and clean, the breakfast was yummy, plentiful and timely (6-10), they had complimentary cocktails (3 limit) and they had internet everywhere. The people were all very friendly and helpful. They also had shuttle service to some local attractions. It is close to a mall and many restaurants. It is also close to downtown Portsmouth and Maine is across the river. I knocked the rating down one notch because the walls were thin and I was awoken by my neighbors two of the three nights. It is also off the main road which made it a bit hard to find the first time in. Otherwise, I think it was one of the nicest Hampton Inn's that I have stayed at. I would stay here again.

Fabulous Hotel & Service

I love this hotel. The staff was super friendly. We arrived with our three children, The hotel Manager was at the desk, He told my boys they would have chocolate chip cookies later, and even check in with them when we came back from dinner to see if they had some cookies. They gave us great directions to the downtown area, and made sure that as soon as we checked in a roll-a-way bed was brought up to our room. They left us to get settled, and called to ensure everything was good in our room. They even sent someone up to make the roll-a-way bed. The pool and hot tub were great, and the breakfast inthe morning was fabulous. Free Cocktail hour was a hit with the hubby, and the boys got coloring books and crayons from the staff. The Breakfast lady was fabulous in looking after everyone and ensuring that there was plenty of food available. I will be bringing my family back to this hotel!

Wish I could go back!

Can't beat happy hour and the free breakfast. Free internet in every room. The shuttle service made it so easy to get to and from town. Very clean and the staff was excellent.

Nice Place

Staff was friendly and very helpful with direction even gave us a town map. The room was very clean and cozy. Free parking!Pool and hot we enjoyed nice and clean. Hotel had a free shuttel, breakfast and a cocktail hour.

Weekend Getaway

The staff was wonderful.They even offer to drive you anywhere you want to go. Close to many wonderful resteraunts,and malls. They have a social hour in the evening. Wonderful breakfast. Coffee/Tea in your room. Very nice pool area extremely clean. I go there alot just for a little get away.
