Comfortable Stay!
We booked online after seeing this hotel on the Indianapolis Visitor's Guide. Stayed 3 nights and had a very comfortable stay. The hotel was not busy at all, probably due to us choosing to stay the weekend after Labor Day.
A couple of things to note:
1) We booked a whirpool suite after seeing the virtual tour of the room online. Our room was nothing like the photos, so we were somewhat disappointed. The whirlpool tub was basically a bathtub with 4 jets. My son loved it, but I was disappointed. The room itself really shouldn't be called a suite. It's basically a standard room with a small 1/2 wall between the king bed and pull-out sofa. We were expecting an actual 1 bedroom style suite, as shown on the online tour. We did ask the desk if all the rooms were the same, and they said the rooms pretty much were. The king bed was very comfortable, but we hated the pillows. Very soft feather pillows and they don't have any others, so bring your pillows if you prefer something firmer.
2) Breakfast was just fine. Nice assortment of muffins, cereal, bananas, bagels, toast, instant oatmeal, sausage, egg patties, and waffle-maker. They had milk, juices, coffee, tea, & hot chocolate, too.
3) Pool area was fine. Nothing glamorous, but clean. The hot tub steps & seats could use a fresh coat of paint because they are looking worn. Overall, we really enjoyed the pool.
Overall, the room was fine and when you upgrade to the "suite" you get a mini-fridge (which was the size of a college-type fridge and nice) and a microwave. Those made the extra money worth it for us, since we brought food to pack lunches for the Children's Museum & Zoo. We also had popcorn at night and movies.
Would stay again!
