The best time of my life

I stayed at this hotel back in June of 2000. I only found this site by chance and decided to see if I could find the hotel representing some of my favorite memories. I was with a team there for the Gothia Cup and we all had a great time. The food was excellent at the hotel and around the city. We all agreed that when we were craving a reminder of home, the pizza place between the hotel and the ferry dock was the perfect remedy. Speaking of, being on the riverfront was not only gorgeous day or night, but it was also very convenient for our nightly trips into town. I give my fulll recommendation for anyone looking for a great and interesting place to stay.

10 weeks in hotel elfa

10 weeks we where guest of the quality hotel 11. our group was there to work at volvo cars. this was a long time but when the last day was there i feel sad to leave. the hotel was all the time a good place to be. many evenings we where in the bar on the 6 floor. the menu was not big but mostly tastful. the service was good and the waitreses where nice and frendly. the reception was alwais helpfull and there is a lott of information about goteborg. the rooms where simpel but nice no noises from the next room. the cleaning of the rooms was good every two days clean sheets on the bed and the bathroom was cleaned every day. i will visit this hotel more in the futher

Nice hotel, good location

Nice place to stay with modern decorations, decent size rooms (compared to the rest of Europe), great buffet breakfast, wonderful restaurant/bar with a limited menu but fabulous views of the river and city. There are many other reasonable restaurants in the area and a nice boardwalk for walks along the river. Downtown Gothenburg is a short ferry ride away. Outside parking is cheap (30 SEK per night). Overall a great place for business and families although a little on the expensive side. Broadband internet is available in most rooms for about 120 SEK per 24 hours.

great hotel in gothenburg

Work staff was extremely helpful...always available to answer questions about travel, etc. in town. Rooms are nicely decorated. Hotel has quality wood floors throughout. Water pressure in shower was great, as it is most everywhere in Sweden. Breakfast provided was good. Hotel is right by bus & ferry stops. Easy to get to by public transportation. Location on harbor is attractive.
