Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront, Cape Town

Disliked the size of the pool & sunbathing area. TINY for the amount of people staying there. We went to have lunch at the bar & when we came back around an hour later all our stuff was taken off the beds & was just left in the corner with nobody looking after it. We were then told that we can't keep beds I accept this in the morning but not when having lunch or at least tell us. When we complained about the treatment of our stuff we were told that it was a rule in a very ignorant manor. Yet for the remainder of our stay they seemed to only target certain beds & not the more 'posh' clients. Also disliked the bar it was so hard to get a drink & at busy times which was every evening they don't make any cocktails. Even though it is a 5 star hotel. You wait at least 15mins to be served. No Gym. Wouldn't be rushing back to pay over the top price for the bad treatment

This hotel sits right on the water and has a lovely dining/pool/cocktail terrace. Rooms are decorated in an uninspired way -- carpet is ugly, especially. The beds are definitely on the hard side, must be the Scandinavian heritage. The bathroom has a large tub that kind of gets in the way -- I'd rather have the space back. The hotel gives you rides to the nearby V&A Waterfront mall, where there are a lot of great restaurants. Lacking a fitness center, it also gives lifts and free passes at the bottom of each hour to a nearby commercial gym and health club, which is really a splendid place if you have the time. At 6pm on a weeknight, it's packed with all the eye candy Cape Town can offer.

I have stayed at the raddison hotel for 2 nights and i tink they just have the most wonderful view of the ocean and the most wonderful suites.
