Nice looking hotel but i found black mold in my first floor room while trying to close my window that was left open by staff. I was sick for three days!

Awesome place!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/29/09
This was a gorgeous hotel, my family and I have stayed at Hampton's all over the US and this is one of the nicest we've seen. It has a bar and grill with great food that delivers right to the room, and the pool is one of the larger hotel pools we've played in. The kids loved playing in the game room, and I loved the fresh cookies and coffee they put out for guests! The staff was very helpful and considerate, and our room was very clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend a stay!

Excellent stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/29/09
This is a great hotel, right off of US 31 and near all the Holland attractions. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and we felt quite welcomed. Our room was lovely and clean, and we enjoyed swimming in the indoor pool and getting a few drinks at the bar and grill. We will definitely be back, it was one of the nicest Hampton's we have ever seen!

Poor Service
By Andrew, 05/20/09
Do not be mistaken for this Hotel to be in the Hilton name. I could not believe how rude the front desk staff was. I will never stay here again

Clean and Good Location
By Fandy, 05/10/09
Clean and friendly and responsive service. Free breakfast with 2 hot items and all day coffee and tea provided. Location is right on 31, easy access to everything and everywhere. Recommend Charley's restaurant. Not recommend Dutch Village. You don't have to pay to visit souvenir stores. Windmill Island is a must see.

An amazing stay!!
By Julie, 02/19/09
We stayed on Valentine's Day. We booked the room a few weeks in advance, when we seen you could pay in advance online for a cheaper rate. We booked a nonsmoking, jacuzzi suite with a king size bed. When we arrived we had no problems checking in, and as we were walking to our room we seen several kids. I was a little nervous that our "quiet getaway" may not be so quiet, because the hotel was full of hockey kids for a tournament in town. There were no issues at all, we didn't hear a thing from our room. The front desk told us they had breakfast from 6a-10a, we went down at 830, hoping there would still be things left. The breakfast wasn't your average donuts, bagels and danishes. They served a warm breakfast with sausage, and french toast sticks. We were definately more than pleased with our stay!! Looking forward to staying again this summer when we can enjoy the beach too!!

Disappointing
By Ryan P, 08/13/07
Initially I was excited to stay at this Hampton because it is part of the Hilton family, but upon check in I was very mistaken. The front desk associate Chad lost my reservation and then acted like he didn't even care and it was my fault. I had been a loyal customer of Hilton products and have never been treated like this. I was assigned to a room with guest already in it, and the second room was dirty, but at that point I just wanted to go to bed. There were noisy kids in the room next door so I complained to the front desk but once again they did not care and the nuisance continued. At check out they double billed me creating another headache, I tried to get it fixed and they told me "to call my credit card company, its no longer our problem." All in all, I'm glad there is a new Hilton product in Holland because I am very dissatisfied with this one.

Great last-minute getaway!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/12/07
We needed a last-minute getaway and this was the perfect place to stay and un-wind! I had no idea Hampton Inn was this upsale, I was expecting the usual but this place not only was in a great loacation I loved the massive glass enclosed indoor pool/whirlpool and lounge area! The best complimentary breakfast with a huge selection. Very up-to-date and clean, comfy rooms. In walking distance to some shopping and dining. Must stop at Sharkee's, a great little dining and lounge area which is poolside or order room serivce! I want to order the comforter they have in the rooms too. Close to everything. I can't say enough except that we look forward to coming back!

AWESOME STAY -- LOVED IT!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/11/07
Great Location! Great Price! Friendly Staff! Great Hotel!!!!!!!!! We are looking forward to coming here every year. Everything about this hotel was wonderful. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking to stay in a great location with a frendly staff. We always stay at Hampton Inns when we travel with our family and this Hampton Inn we found to be one of the larger Hampton Hotels. It had a great atmosphere -- including a beautiful pool area, exercise room, and bar.

The noisiest hotel I have ever stayed at
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/04/07
I had two rooms on 6/2/2007. A great looking place in a great location - but watch out! Unsupervised children are allowed to run the halls, slamming and banging on doors and yelling until late at night. Another guest described it as an actual NBA game being played in the room next door to him. If you want to swim and party - GREAT! If you want to sleep - forget it!
