Comfort Inn Mount Shasta Area, Weed

THE STAFF WAS GREAT, THE HOTEL WAS CLEAN AND THE BREAKFAST WAS SATISFYING

For a small town this was a great stop over hotel. There was a lot of firemen and truckers in the hotel, maybe that explains why housekeeping forgot to clean the shower because there was hair left in the shower and shampoo bottles from the previous guest. Other than that we slept great, even though there had to be 100 semi's parked next door.

. There seems to be a consistent theme going on with this place, and that is the question of cleanliness. Truth be told, I'm a little uneasy of this place because of the above reason, and also for the obvious fact that the people of this hotel are writing glowing reviews here (and in orther places), passing on as guests. (red flag?). Just need to be careful thats all. .

My fiance and I stayed here after spending the day hiking up Mt. Shasta. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, the hot tub felt GREAT after a day of hiking, breakfast was nothing particularly special but was certainly adequate. The only real complaint I have is that the rooms were a bit small. We will definately stay here again when we go to Mt Shasta next time!

My husband and I stayed at the Comfort Inn Central in Weed, CA. Because it was our anniversary I reserved the suite on the top story. It had a living room with gas fireplace, big bathroom with huge whirlpool tub and comfortable bedroom. Staying there was perfect because it was only a couple miles from the city of Shasta without the annoying train whistle waking us up every 2 hours, but we ended up hearing an annoying buzzing every few hours (which I think was the water heater outside.) I was a little disappointed because I was told there was a mountain view (which was being blocked by a few tall trees), and the bathroom smelled like urine (or urine scented cleaner.) The couch also smelled like B.O. but they gave us a blanket to put over. Next time we go to Shasta, I would definitely stay there again because I cant stand the train whistle, but I probably wouldn�t get that same room under the circumstances. It just wouldn�t be worth the extra money again. However, for a big family- it would be perfect. Just bring your own disinfectant.

Really liked the suite...the geographical area is gorgeous....the museum a must see..but what they don't tell you is that the parking lot is parking for all the truckers! They stop and park all around the hotel...and they leave their engines running all night long and that means you hear it all night long! too bad

I travel frequently to Mt. Shasta and have found this Comfort Inn to be the best out of all the inns & motels I've tried in the surrounding area. The rooms have always been clean and comfortable, and the furnishings seem to be replaced frequently -- no signs of wear. This is a place I would recommend to friends & family without hesitation. In-room internet access has always been reliable. (Not wi-fi'd as of Feb. 06 but that's no biggie.) I've always been treated well by the staff, who are efficient, helpful and just nice people.
