Torre De Cali Hotel, Cali

When I booked my hotel, I asked for a 5star hotel, and they gave me the "Torre de Cali". It was not what I had in mind. When we got there the receptionist did not even greet us, I had to greet her, and my reservation which I had called in one week ahead of time could not be found! We were given a room on the 13th floor, when we got there the air conditioning was turned off, the beds were not made, no hot water and there wasn't a list of the products or prices for the "minibar"! I went to use the bathroom and to my horror, the tiles on the wall and shower were falling off! and the toilet did not even flush! I called the front desk, asking for another room they said they would get it fixed ASAP, but wouldn't give us another room the only thing they fixed was the air. At night we didn't even sleep because they turned the air off, I called to have it turned on again, and they did, but then turned it back off! That morning, I told the lady at the front desk who told me that there was one air conditioner for every 3 ROOMS! so if one person wants it turned off, they would turn it off! I had never heard such a thing! When we went to check out, I voiced my complaints to the person in charge, who told me he "would look into it," and then they gave us our bill. They wanted to charge us for things from the mini bar that hadn't even been there in the first place! This hotel, I am sorry to say has to be the worst one I have ever stayed at! I know that there are much much better hotels in Cali, who really do deserve the 5star rating.
