Riverside Inn, Cayce

We got two room and both were in POOR condition carpets felt sticky and smelt bad, walls had holes in them cover with wallpaper, bed cover had blood on one of the beds, no towels in the room, there was some #2 in the one of toilets, if you wanted anything you had to walk to the office ( like the towels that should have been there to begin with.), Be careful the beds were falling apart and you will hurt your legs and feet. The smoke detectors did not work and there is not a sprinkler system in the hotel, O and the website says it has a hot breakfast HA HA not, unless you call a hot toast breakfast. The lady who but out the food told us that she had scabies and it caused staff infection and you could see the sores on her body. I would say it should be shut down...

Our family stayed at the Riuverside Inn because of a reunion with 11 rooms. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful in helping us find our way around town. The rooms very very clean and nice even though it was older. The location was excellent. Pricing was more than fair. We had a problem with one door lock, but maintenance came and fixed the problem right away. Breakfast was very good. We would definitly stay again.

We had 3 rooms rented for 3 nights. Rooms were very old and dated. towels ripped. dirty washcloths left from previous renters. open shampoo bottle in our room. breakfast was decent. One Room key presented many problems as it would not work most of the time. tub was dirty. One bed was broken. One of our rooms had a microwave and a fridge. Rooms had an odor. Not cigarette odor, but just musty. But, the showers were hot and strong. Owners were friendly. Close to University and rather close to Ft. Jackson
