Black Mold

Beware. This place will make you sick.
I have stayed here twice. Both times I had a King size with a whirpool. The whirlpool is not in the bathroom it is out in the room. That was a little weird but ok.
The first week (week of 5/27/07) long stay my room was on the ground floor on the east side of the building. The room was fairly clean.
My second stay was suppose to be a week long (week of 6/3/07). This time I got a room on the ground floor on the west side of the building. I arrived late on Sunday and went to sleep almost immediately. When I got up I rushed off to my appointments. When I got back on Monday I noticed the room smelled funny, it had been very over perfumed with some type of air freshener. I went to turn on the AC unit and found the wall paper by the AC unit was coming away from the wall. Looking under the AC unit I found the drywal covered in Black Mold. I packed my stuff and left the hotel.
I went back in the morning and complained to the manager. She refunded my money and was apologetic. She said that she had just been informed by the cleaning staff that there was indeed mold in the room. Reading other reviews on this site this problem has lingered. By the managers own admission they have had problems with the ground floor rooms on the west side of the building. She said it was because the floors are concrete.
