A Victory Inn Suites Detroit, Detroit

We went to this place to just stay the night to get away. When we entered the room we figured hey for the price whatever. Within minutes of being in the room before we could really settle in she saw something crawling on the wall. Looked closer and immediately identified it as a bed bug. Took a picture of it and discreetly showed it to the front desk clerk. She denied that they have bed bugs. They refunded our money and we left. IM sorry but bed bugs is a spreading epidemic and with all it takes to get rid of them we are not trying to bring that back home. Follow what I say or not but stay at your own risk. I would honestly say doont stay at all.

ok.. where should i begin? very bad AC or a fan i dont even know. They dont work at all. so humid inside wet carpert bad shower and some lamps dont even work .i went there at exacty 10:30 and left at 12:30 you couldnt BREATH in there we checked out even though we paid better to roam the streets then die in a place you cant breath so im suggesting you should not book that motel and book something better its cheap but not even worth that price

room was dirty. Shower was filthy. Water was rusty. Breakfast consisted of day old donuts, bagels and cereal and no milk.

After reading the other reviews for this hotel, I seem to think I had to be at a different hotel. I'm not racist at all, but as soon as we pulled up, we felt scared. There were numerous gangster looking guys throwing up gang signs right in front of the lobby and yelling stuff that included asking us if we needed any marijuana. We had already paid for the room so we decided to just go to our room and stay there for the night. The guy working the front desk was nice, but that is the only good thing I have to say. I don't like to judge but two females were hanging around in front of the lobby in very suggestive clothing. When we got to our room, we found out that the door did not even close all the way and we could hear the traffic in our room as if the road ran right next to the door. We asked for non smoking, but the room still smelled strongly of smoke. The shower didn't work either. This hotel was not visualy appealing inside or out. Maybe the most un- family friendly hotel I've ever been to. We decided we could not get a good nights sleep here so we ended up leasing and going to a Red Roof Inn in Monroe. I'm not sure how one person could say that this hotel was not "run down like a Red Roof Inn" as the RRI we stayed in was 100 times nicer with a much friendlier staff, all for the same price. I highly suggest not staying here and finding somewhere else.

This hotel was perfect for our needs. It was inexpensive, but wasn't run down like a Red Roof. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was good, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I was in on business and the staff helped me find my way around town. This is a great place to stay!

words cannot describe the beautifulness of this fine esablishment. This place is THE TOTAL PACKAGE. I actually brought my mom to this place and she LOVED IT.

Able to park in front of your room. Can do whatever you want without the hassle of going through a lobby or hallway. Can get up and jump right in your car and go. I did not see any racist, I think its in Detroit, isn't it!
