Very nice atmosphere
We are truck drivers that broke down unexpectedly nearby. We were looking at having to be in town for a few days. We needed a room and fast.
The people at Drury Inn were ready to accomodate us immediately. Their price was reasonable and they even welcomed our little Pomadoodle, Gizmo.
The ammenities available are wonderful. A large complimentary breakfast that included bisquits/gravy, scambled eggs, sausage, waffles, hot and cold cereal, french toast, fresh hot coffee, juice and soda.
The evening complimentary meal was just as spectacular. Variety of chips and dips, fresh vegetables, fresh coffee, juice, soda and complimentary bar drinks.
The rooms were just as welcoming. Large 37" tv's, refrigerator, microwave and free internet access. Definetly our kind of place. Very clean, plenty of thick, large towels. The shower and bathroom area was very clean and the toilet paper was even folded to show that housekeeping completed the room.
Would definetly return to this area if the need arises. The amenities available close by are Dairy Queen, a Pizza Buffet that offers a great compliment of pizzas and salad and a mini-mart/gas station.
There is even truck parking available for those staying at the hotel for those weary travelers that want to be spoiled for a night or two. Across the I-55 is a couple of small truckstops if truck drivers needed other facilities like cashing EFS or Comcheks. That was the only drawback about this hotel. They don't take EFS or Comcheks.
