Music Road Inn, Pigeon Forge

My husband and I stayed at this hotel recently, but unfortunately we did not have a good experience. While the room was very spacious and nice, we had a horrible time trying to sleep the two nights we stayed there. There was a water pipe that would pop/clang extremely loudly whenever anyone in the room upstairs ran water. This went on for at least thirty minutes after a sink was turned on, a toilet was flushed, shower, etc. It was extremely loud and impossible to sleep through. We had the worst night's sleep, both of us felt completely exhausted the next day. When we complained to management she apologized and said she would take some off of our bill. She took a whopping $18 off of our bill of $240, which we just found insulting. The whole reason you go to a hotel is so you can get a good night's sleep. Our experience at this hotel was ruined by a very poor night's sleep and a manager who basically dismissed our complaints by giving us a few dollars off our bill. We will not stay at this hotel again, nor will we recommend it to friends. If you do stay at this hotel, avoid Room 505. I doubt they've done anything to fix the pipe that kept us up, since it seemed the manager didn't actually believe us.

My husband and I loved the room. We only stayed one night, but that was enough to give us a feel for this hotel, and to plan to stay longer when we come to do our Christmas shopping!

We could not have wanted anything more from our experience at this hotel. Our rooms (3) were beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The beds are great, and I love that there is no bedspread. The bench in the bathroom was perfect for putting on makeup. Breakfast was always delicious and they did a great job keeping the buffet filled. The staff was very accommodating when we decided to spend an extra day. The pools were clean and well maintained. Our family has stayed here at least once a year for the past 6 years. It is always great.

I expected to have a nice 2 night stay with my husband and kids but one night at this place was so miserable that we ended our trip to Pigeon Forge a day early. The service was RUDE!!!! Sheets on bed were dirty,(GREASE), after reporting this at 10pm and waiting an hour for them to come change, I had to go to front desk and get sheet and change for myself. A horrible sulfer smell (unbearable) had permeated in the lobby and made it up to the 6th floor in a matter of minutes. This did not clear up for hours. A guest reported some food that had been spilled on the elevator floor, it took hours and much complaining to get it cleaned up. The pool was nice but filthy! Hairballs floating in it. A dead bird was on patio by pools that we reported that was still there the next day when we checked out. There were many things about this visit that made it unpleasant. Didn't have any kind of hotel information in the room, or handed to you, (check out time,breakfast hours, pool hours,etc...); when I asked the Matt, the front desk clerk about he was very rude in telling me that they did not offer this info in a guide, you had to come ask him. I would expect this at a Cheaper motel but for $170 a night I really expected better than this. I am not a person to complain but this was too much.Most HORRIBLE experience we have ever had on a vacation. Another thing to watch for, there is a Music Road Inn located across the street from this Motel that looks much newer and nicer with great reviews. Don't confuse the two!!!

This is a great place, unlike anything in Pigeon Forge...Clean and great lobby and patio, let along the outdoor pool, my kids loved it. Going back this fall...can't wait.

My husband and I were actually in the Hiliday Inn express located directly in front of the Music Road Inn and had just entered our room. We were very dissatisfied with the Holiday Inn Express and we looked out the window and saw the Music Road Inn. We decided to investigate the Music Road Inn and upon entering the lobby I was really pleased at the beauty of the building. Then to our amazement our stay was actually much cheaper. The room we had was amazing with a king bed and jacquzzi tub. It was amazingly clean,had a refrigerator and microwave, coffee, and lots of towels. I would definetly stay here again.

The lobby was beautiful with the huge fireplace and comfy chairs. The beds were great.For me to wake up without a backache was amazing. The grandchildren loved it and want to go back as soon as we can. The location is excellent. The view is great. I cant say enough about the place and I have stayed in many high end hotels all over U.S.

By trying to look past the snobbish service, it only got worse. Foremost, I was fooled by internet being wireless; it was not. Was very important to my work. Secondly, no directory book in room; when requested one (for checkout info, pool info, etc.) front desk replied it would be to much hassle to get one and brushed us off! I tried to relax in my suite with the fireplace that stunk like gas fumes and a hot tub with hair in it. The following morning was disappointing with no hearty breakfast--no eggs, sausage, pancakes, etc. for the price breakfast could be more than pastries and cereals!

I'm going back for my third visit in a couple of weeks! The rooms are clean, large, quite and comfortable. The lobby is beautiful and a great place to relax. Breakfast is good. But, the feature that keeps bringing me back is the view!! In October, we stayed in a balcony room overlooking the river and mountains. Having a cup of coffee on my balcony is one of the highlights of my trips to the Smokeys!!

i love to stay there we like the lazy river and the indoor pool .because it is open 24 hrs. and we like the out door pool because thay are so warm . and the people are friendy. but i wish thay would drop there prices .gail wv
