Let me begin by saying that I'm a Starwood "platinum", and with that I expected to be treated in a professional manner. This Hotel is by far the worst Hotel I stayed in. The hotel manager approached my parents while they were at the lounge to ask them to give up their rooms since they were automatically upgraded to a suite. The hotel claims that as a platinum member, they would upgrade you t a suite, if available, which during that it was..but the hotel manager decided he doesn't want to do that anymore. He even had the nerve to tell my parents to pay for the coffee they were having and are not supposed to be at the lounge due to the fact they were "downgraded" Thos hotel smelled bad, and located far away from the all the shopping areas, and you would need a miracle to get a taxi. The hotel manager kept avoiding to take my calls or to meet me in person, which says a lot about way the hotel is being ran. we ended up checking out..and u were charged for the half a day (so much for the late check out platinum advantage) With the same value, there are plenty of better hotels to choose from…with better locations and cleaner rooms.

I was there for 12 unforgettable nights. They were always offering me their comfortable service. A very good hotel. Their target was offering all guests a comfortable stay.

The service was terrific and the location was good for a stop over although it is not a location I would pick for an holiday stay. Executive Suites are beauiful.

Not a bad hotel, very hard to get transportation unless you prearranged. Location is secure but traffic around this area always seems to be heavy. Rooms were small but clean, staff was pleasant.

the food menu, needs more variety more cable channels would good as well. The food you then to get use to after an extended stay and finally don't want to try any thing becasue you've already had it. The movie channels are the same way .

I am most in traveling , and a big part of those ,I had been in dubai at least 9times.I think with the exception of three times in began, that I had stayed in others hotels . All another about six times I chose and stayed in your excellent hotel ,and any time I had a good time . In addition I am very glad because I have PGS card that causes you remain in my mind . best regards JAHANGIR ARVANEH

We arrived around 11pm tired from our journey and they said that our reservations were cancelled although we had paid in advance and in full. No explanation as to why. And to make matters worse, they said there wasn't anything available and offered NO assistance or even a refund! I was glad not to stay there when I saw many ladies of the evening in the lobby. Don't stay here if you are expecting a nice family friendly hotel. Truly a nightmare experience.

How was the service? The overall service, generally was acceptable, but not extraordinary. As another customer noted, the Terrace restuarant for breakfast is too small to handle the crowd on weekends. When I showed up I was told to wait in the lounge where I sat at an unoccupied table. After a few minutes a waitress told me the table was occupied. I then had to wait standing for a table again, and after finally getting seated I had to wait again at the tiny buffett area for a cook to make eggs. People were bumping each other to get around the crowded and narow aisle. Not a pleasant experience for the money I paid for breakfast, 72 AED or about 20 USD. An operator with an attitude answers the phone. The rooftop pool area is small so getting a place to sit can be another waiting game. The massage was poor. An untrained young Indian man basically rubs oil around. Was your room comfortable? The room is average and surprisingly has no carpet which adds to sound and noise levels that can be annoying. Also the regular overhead roar of planes landing at the airport contribute to noise Was the location convenient? Convenient to areas in the city yes and the airport just 10 minutes away. Having said that be advised the flight path for landings and take offs are directly routed over this Sheraton. Some locla shops and restuarants are a short walk but in the heat a bus or taxi ride is needed to get to other areas.

My stay was brief but fully enjoyable. The staff always with a smile and going the extra mile for the guest is the best first impression I've received in my years of international travel. I recommend Sheraton Deira to any business traveler or family wanting affordable luxury in Dubai. MB Conroe TX
