Quality Inn, Auburn

I was pretty scared about what the room might look like for the price but it wasn't that bad at all. It was clean and comfortable. I could have done without the noise from the other guest coming in at 2am. I plan on using this as my spot to stay in when I work in the area.

The bathroom was not clean. The ceiling had leaked and left an awful looking mess. I ran out of hot water the first morning there. The last morning there our heat/air went out. There was dust around the edges of everything. The hallway outside our room was unkept. The breakfast area was not clean. On the otherhand, the bed was comfortable.

The Comfort Inn on College St. is renovated. It is now very CLEAN and the staff is friendly. We enjoyed our complimentary breakfast of delicious fresh waffles that we made in a cleaver waffle iron (that was fun). There was also cereal, fresh doughnuts, bagels, fruit, milk, coffee etc... I have had a breakfast that nice before but never at such a reasonably priced hotel. The swimming pool was clean and refreshing. The location to the University and the highway was excellent.

After reviewing some of the negative comments, we were pleasantly surpirsed to find a renovated complex with new carpet, drapes, bedding, etc. Management was responsive and cordial. Give them a try!
