Great Hotel

We stayed here July 4th, 2007 two rooms.Cruised out of Galveston the next day. 1st floor beside the pool.Four (4) adults Two (2) kids, great location next door to Ryan's for dinner. Mall across the street. Wonderful staff went out of there way on all of our requests. Great rooms quiet,clean, and the beds were like sleeping on a cloud. And we were next to the pool and hot tub. Very nice hot breakfast, sausage and biscuits, French toast, cereals of all kinds and plenty of fresh fruit, would highly recommend this location. We are returning in January with the entire clan again.

Excellent Choice!

Even though our event was in Galveston the drive back and forth to Texas City wasn't bad (15 min.). Hotel was great as well as the staff. Friendly staff, clean/fresh smelling rooms and staff, good breakfast and staff went beyond normal customer service by offering to wash our team uniforms for us! Hats off to Hampton Inn in Texas City. We'll be back next year.

conveniently located

I like the location because it is in the middle of everything: 15 min drive to Galveston, 35 min to Houston, 15 min to NASA, 45 min to Brazos Bend State Park. The personnel is very friendly although a little bit too loud.
