Quality Inn Kinder, Kinder

We chose Quality Inn as a last resort, & were worried because of the negative comments we had read. We had a wonderful stay & enjoyed the accomodations very much. We had no negative complaints, only positive here.

When we got there only 2 parking lights were working. When we were walking into our building a lady made a comment "Good Luck". So we asked and she told us that AC was not working. We walked into the building the hallway was extremely HOT and it smelled like mold. Got to our room and it was HOT as well. The vents were broke, turned the AC on and came back in 30 minutes and the room was still HOT. So we decided to get our money back and go somewhere else. By this time 3 other couples were outside talking about the same thing, there AC was not working. Requested to get refunded but could not. Couldn't even get refunded for the nite we hadn't even stayed for. We both felt that we were being forced to stay. The lady at the desk could not get a hold of the manager and had no emergency contact log. That is very poor management, exspecially in a major emergency. We were put into another room, that hallway was still extremely HOT. Walking to the other room, noticed door handles missing, lights blinking, the floor sounded like I was going to fall thru and that bad smell. Got to the room and it was actually cold. The swimming pool, is not like the picture at ALL! It's GREEN and you can't even see the bottom. Had trash in it too. Not a place to enjoy your time away from home. This Hotel should be INSPECTED!! We thought as many people actually stay there, there should be money put into it. And being close to the Casino, I would be assamed to have a Hotel like that. We will go back but pay more to stay somewhere else! Reading other Reviews, someone should really look into this. This is definitely a NO STAR HOTEL.

Reservations were a little hard to find and the receptionist texted the manager on her cell phone to see how to handle the reservations. Manager 10 minutes later showed up and said "next time we reserve a room to give the receptionist the actual dates we wanted to stay" Then walking to our room, sidewalks had grass growing up through the cracks, pool was green, door was open the enter the hall way, damp smell, room was OK. But the toilet ran after you flush it, the refrigerator had no adjustments for settings so our drinks did not get cold, ice machine never worked, shower head had parts hanging off, and the lobby was dark. If I go back to Kinder, I will stay some place else. Maybe a tent would be better !!!! NO STARS !

the first room smelled of a very strong cleaning solution-burnt our eyes-the next room was ok but had cobwebs in the bath room and hair on floor and in bath tub-paid extra for a jucuzzi room and it didn't even work and the nozzles had green stuff in them and the people weren't friendly at all-will never stay here again-will pay extra and stay at another hotel in kinder

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The first night the AC leaked over most of the floor. When we told them they quickly moved us to another room. We plan to return in Dec.

I was extremely satisfied with my stay at Quality Inn the staff was friendly and helpfiul made us aware of the services available to us and the room was so nice and clean.The breakfast each morning was so good. This is a great place to come and relax also the price is just right and I had a nice big suite. D.Anthony
