Here's where no to stay in Kinder, La.

Our reservation was for a non-smoking room, which we did not receive. The hotel was oversold, so we were put in a wheel chair accessible "suite", which did not have a bathtub, but a shower that allowed for navigation only by sitting on the bench, using a hand held shower head. The free continental breakfast was next to nothing, and closed early. I had to ask for milk for cereal, and was told the breakfast ended in 15 minutes, so they were "fixin' to close down", and had no plans to put anything else out. It's quite comical to watch several guests arguing over who will get one of the last three pieces of stale french toast. No juice, no creamer, ugh! And cleanliness? There is no minus, so I cannot mark the negative this hotel deserves. When I attempted to discuss my dissatisfaction with our room, I was informed by the "assistant manager" that she was in charge, and there was no higher authority present. She flatly told me that "you booked on Orbitz, and you get what you pay for". Little did I know that the Orbitz price was the same that the hotel offered online. But not to worry, I will never stay at this hotel ever again! Maybe this review will save a few others from wasting $$$ on a miserable experience.
