Ramada Limited, Port Wentworth

First off I asked for 2 non smoking rooms I was given one 2 rooms one that smelled like an ashtray and I asked to be moved to 2 more side by side rooms and the staff was rude and very argumentive. We were moved to 2 more rooms but these were not much better. Bathroom was dirty and bedspreads and sheets had to be replaced. Carpet was nasty in one of the rooms. Our air went out in the middle of the night.(Savannah July 4th is not the time to have no air). I couldn't get anyone at the desk to answer the phone till after 4am. When I did get someone to answer they refused to get someone to come and fix it. We checked out at 6am just as soon as we could get ready to leave. I will not go back to this place.

The owners were very helpful from the very start. The room was not new and showed signs of wear but the room was clean and the beds were made with fresh sheets every day. We would go back and happily recommend it to anyone. We were there over the Christmas holidays.

If you need a place close to the airport, it is clean enough and very close. It has a microwave and refrigerator which may or may not come in handy.
