Jameson Inn Decatur, Decatur

Loved the customer service, clean and spacious room, coffee, convenient parking and location, proximity to the mall, and lots of other stuff. Disliked NOTHING.

My Brother, Mother, and myself came to Alabama from Indiana to see my niece get married. We stayed at the Jameson Inn. Maquita Hampton was working at the front desk when we arrived. She was very helpful in more than just renting us a room. She went out of her way to help my elderly Mother with directions to the Princess Theater. Maquita even went on Mapquest and ran us off directions. Only wish more people could be more like her. Thank you Maquita. Our room was very nice, clean,affordable,close to everything. The continental breakfast was the best I have ever seen. Personally i give this Inn...2 thumbs up.

I like everything about this place,it's always cozy and comfortable,never noisey even on a Saturday night in the middle of Summer. The rooms are clean and affordable,located nearby are Applebees and Red Lobster,& the Decatur Mall,the front desk check in is speedy and friendly,the breakfast is one I never pass up. The grounds are clean and Inviting.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE-EXTRAORDINARY!!!! Although I never write reviews of service, I felt so strongly about the commendable service I had received here, I felt everyone should know. I had booked a room for my mother and I who were coming into town for my niece's graduation. The night before we were to come, I received a call that my niece and sister were in a very bad car accident. My sister was hospitalized and my niece had no place to stay. Since my niece had a broken leg and a broken bag, she could not manage walking up the stairs for the room we had received that afternoon. Even though the manager did not have a guaranteed clean room for all her guests since our room was used already that day and her housekeeping was gone for the day, she allowed us to stay in her handicapped-accessible room. This meant that my niece could use a handicap shower before her all-important high school graduation! The manager was very accommodating and made no requests for added charges. The room was excellent, very clean and extremely comfortable beds! We appreciate her kindness especially when going beyond the call of duty is considered to impede the value of the dollar to many businesses these days.
