Can't wait to get back !!!!!!
By liz, 3/12/08
The only things I didn' like was the $5.00 resort fee. Which I did not use the pool, gym or coffee. Also, I was unble to locate an ice or soda machine after hours. But overall I was impressed with the hotel and would recommend it.

Marvelous, absolutely marvelous
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/27/08
My wife and I have been to Vegas four times. We usually sayed at the Stardust, and shed quite a few tears when it came down. Last year, we stayed at the Orleans (most of the staff from the Stardust transfered to the Orleans). The Orleans was absolutely stunning. We had the very best time there and ARE going there each time we go to Vegas. We loved all the resturants (The French Market is great. Excellent food at a good price), and the staff broke their necks in helping us. We attend a convention there every year, and I can think of no place else I would stay. We are taking our daughter and grandaughter this year. They will love it as much as we do. There is so much to tdo just under the roof there. Things for little kids, all the way to us big kids. Can't wait to be there again.

Hidden Fees !!!
By F., 2/18/08
I was charged a $5/day "resort fee", which is not mentioned in their website. Now $5 doesn't sound like much for a 2-day stay, but for the 350 members of the Telco Bowling tournament this fee amounts to $3500 of consumer gouging. We will not be choosing this hotel for future tournaments, and will search for a site that clearly states their fees in phone reservations & internet sites.

Love it. A Vegas Must
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/15/08
We have been going to Vegas for years and the last 3 visits have been at the Orleans. We have stayed on the strip before however as seasoned tourists the Orleans is much better. The prices are affordale and there are shuttles to get you to the strip at NO Cost... Can't wait to come back this winter.

GREAT EXPERIENCE
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/4/08
my husband & i were a little worried about staying in a small hotel off strip. we have been going to vegas for 10 years , usually twice a year and have always stayed in the mega hotels on strip. the orleans is very, very clean. The rooms are as spacious as any we have ever stayed in. the beds are very comfortable and the service was excellent. all of this for a third the price of the strip hotels. Their casino is nice (a little too smokey at times), they have numerous eating establishments of all different price ranges(skip the buffet except for breakfast). You will need a car if you want to get around but with the movie theather, bowling alley, arcade and spa you could just stay at the orlenas!! We drove this year so we could get around easily. an extra bonus--free entertainment every night in the bar lounge. It was great.anoter + the spa. The security is tight (women traveling alone will appreciate), there is a guard 24-7 at the elevators, where you have to show your room key to get up to your room. we will definately stay at the orleans again.

Always stay here.
By rmcgillbc, 1/28/08
We have been going to Vegas for over 30 years and have stayed at many different hotels, but the Orleans is by far the best value. It has a nice mix of restaurants, and the arena gives us Canucks a chance to see a hockey game while we're away from the cold weather in Canada. The entertainment, while somewhat dated, is reasonably priced for the budget minded and the casino is as big as most of the Strip Hotels. We always have a great time in the sports book playing the games or the races and my wife loves the pool area. And if you want to get away for awhile they have the cineplex or the bowling alley.

Impressive!!!
I must admit for the price they were asking for the rooms that this place would not be as nice as they advertised to be. But this place is GREAT!!!! The Orleans Hotel was absolutly a pleasure to experiance. The rooms were HUGE the beds comforable and clean. The view we had was of the strip and it was spectactular. The pools looked inviting although it was too cold to try out and the spa and casinos were a real treat. They even have things for the kids to do while the adults gamble. Above the casino they have a day care for the little ones, a movie theater, and a bowling alley and arcade. Guest even have FREE access to computers, internet copiers and faxes if needed. The Orleans has it ALL. Its about 5 minutes from the strip as well and about 15 -10 mins from the airport. I can't wait to stay there again. A GREAT place. A WONDERFUL time.

VERY nice off strip
By d, 1/13/08
when i reserved this stay i was scared. i had never stayed in an off the strip hotel before. i was VERY pleasantly surprised!! the place had just about anything you needed. movies, bowling, entertainment, food, and of course gambling. everything was reasonably priced. it wasnt a high end place, but you didnt feel like you were slumming either. if i had anything negative to say it was maybe it smelled a little of smoke and it was kinda dated. but the rooms were very nice, and the one i had a great view of the strip. the shuttle to the strip was not bad either. overall, i would recommend anyone watching their budget to stay there!!!
