Going back in Sept
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/9/09
We love the orleans the rooms are very nice and the cater to there guests . The buffet is great. But the best kept secret in Las Vegas is The PrimeRib Loft in the Orleans. The food there is as good or better than any of the fancy chef resturants on the strip and I have eaten at a few of them..Emerils is good but the PrimeRib Loft is the best.

The best value for a great time!
By Heidi, 6/30/09
I have stayed at the Orleans about 5 or 6 times. We loved that the hotel had all of the eating and tables/slots, but it was small enough that we didn't feel lost. I have stayed a few times on the strip, but would perfer to stay at the Orleans. The rooms are okay, but who has time to stay in their rooms when you're in Vegas. Black Jack tables are reasonable and the dining is great!

LOVE THE ORLEANS
By Matthew, 5/9/09
We have stayed at many hotels on the strip, and have never had the 'VEGAS vibe', The Orleans brings the 'Vegas vibe'. These is something for everyone. Rooms are spacious staff is uber helpful, and the gaming and betting are tons of fun. We have stayed 3 times, brought Family and friends and will continue to receommend The Orleans to everyone.

Best value and best time to visit.
By Martin, 3/26/09
My wife and I recently tried the Orleans Hotela and Casino. We were both very inpressed with what we got and what was around. The price of the place was the best I could get and going to Vegas on an off pike is the best time to visit Las Vegas. The have something for everyone. Either your a bowler, a movie buff, a gambler doesn't make a difference they have it all. Going again very soon.

best room I ever has
By Randall F, 3/6/09
I have stayed at 13 different casinos throught years. Mostly middle range price. I stayed at Orleans the first week of Jan. This was the best room I ever had. All the rooms are basically the same. You come in and there is a bath room, then two beds with a tv stand in the middle and a chair back by the window. This rooom had a couch , table and and a chair. It was a little bit more space and a desk for work or putor stuff. The buffett at the Orleans is the best in vegas for the price. Exquisite food. Big Al's oyster bar had the best Clam Chowder I ever had. When i go back, i will try to stay at Orleans again.

Great reasonably priced resort
By Donna W, 3/6/09
We have stayed at the Orleans three different times. For those of you complaining, looks like it was situations uncontrolled by the hotel. How can the hotel control the neighborhood for heaven's sake. Things happen, ie the pipe bursting, that aren't expected. Be upset when the hotel catches fire and the alarms DON'T go off not when they do. Sure, there are things about this hotel that maybe the pricier hotels have or don't have, but all in all you get much more bang for your buck here. We will continue to stay here when we come to Vegas for one thing, we don't have to deal with the pin head 20 and 30 somethings that stay at the strip hotels just so they can strut around the pool half naked. It is a terrific place to stay if you are older and just want to relax. It has a nice 24 hour cafe, good $$ for a decent buffet, and large clean rooms. Oh, and for the idiot who left his money in the room, there are safes to keep it in or better yet, don't be stupid enough to leave it in the room in the first place. We always take our laptop and have it set up and no one has ever touched it. We feel safe and secure here and the housekeeping staff is very nice.

DO NOT LEAVE CASH IN YOUR ROOM
By Amy and Michal, 1/7/09
My first impression was OK except for the very strong "cheap freshener" smell at the lower levels, very stuffy smell in the room and sings of wear in the rooms. However after the first day we noticed that someone went over our stuff and significant amount of cash hidden away under the items in the drawer was missing. Interestingly, the room was not cleaned, bed not made and trash left in the baskets. We called security and they seemed to be reluctant to believe in our story and when we requested that the locks were checked he said that only maid went into the room during the day and that was only to “clean our room”. We filed the report immediately but when we checked back with he manager 3 days later, she only just learned about the whole thing and all she knew was that “nobody was in our room except for the maid who cleaned up the room” a few days later we contacted the claims department and heard the same story. We were not reimbursed for our lost money or received any discount except for hearing that they apologize and somehow they will handle this
.

Nice!! We can`t wait to return .
By Charlotte, 1/3/09
This was a very nice hotel and casino.Plenty of gambling room if you choose not to go to other casino`s.Rooms were fine and the food was great. Sometimes it was hard to get a drink on the slots-not enough waitress. I`ve been to Vegas about 30 times in the last 20 years-alot in the 80`s.This hotel was one of the good ones.Never had a bad time in Vegas-lol
