Ramada Limited Destin, Destin

We had a wonderful stay!! We rented for 4 days and left with no complaints. Hotel staff was very friendly and accomadating. Continental breakfast was served along with hot coffee and juices. I would certainly go back and stay at this hotel again!! Never saw bugs, etc. and the walk to the beach is on a really cool boardwalk in between the condos. Thanks, Charlie!!

TERRIBLE HOTEL! There were FLYING ROACHES IN THE ROOMS, ELEVATORS, AND THE LIGHT FIXTURES. The beachwalk was too long, breakfast area too small, and pool too small. I would not recommend this hotel. It was not clean!

Our room was mostly clean, although not vacuumed under tables and chairs. When we pulled back the covers on the bed, the blanket had many, many burn holes and cuts in it. The carpet was dark red, but bleached out to a white/light yellow in places that looked like someone had either spilled bleach or alcohol on it. The staff was cordial, but said "What do you expect? You're here following spring breakers!" We were in an end room so we only had noise from the room on one side of us, but the noise level was unacceptable. I'd say it was just the people staying next to us, but one group left and another came in during our stay and the noise level never lessened. The walls are thin, I guess. The bathroom was clean. You cannot see the becah from the hotel. Although the boardwalk to the beach was a little bit of a walk (about 200 yards), it was nice to have that pathway to the beach. If it's beach and waves you crave, this is not the place for you. If it's quiet you like, this is not the place for you. If it's order and cleanliness and a nicely put together room you like, this is absolutely not the place for you. I will never stay there again...and if I could have found a room somewhere else on that short a notice, we would have left upon arrival. Oh, and I took videotape of the room damage upon our arrival, just in case the management wanted to say we made the mess. They didn't try to say that though. They just accepted that that's the best they can do following spring breakers. Ugh!

Last weekend my husband,myself,and another couple decided that we would go to Destin,FL; just for a get-a-way for the weekend. I went on the Internet and read many reviews and almost did not book our reservations here due to the negative review in particular about the hotel 'resembling prison cells.' Nevertheless our stay was GREAT, we were walking distance from the beach and other main attractions in Destin within ONLY minutes. I particular enjoyed that the outlet mall was directly across the street from the hotel. The room look EXACTLY as it is appears on the internet site. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and we even enjoyed the guests that were at the swimming pool. We will definitely stay again. It is a great Bang for You Buck!!!!

Room is fine, but the outside appearance is similar to prison cells. The continental breakfast is the worst I've ever seen--just vending machine honey buns, bagels, and some cold cereal. No fruit, eggs, or anything hot beyond do-it-yourself hot cereal, and coffee. The hotel/motel is NOT on the beach as advertised. Rather, it is set back approximately 100-200 yards. The access is just that, a public access wooden ramp that extends between other peoples houses and condos that allows you to walk to the beach without "crossing the street." Management is friendly upon arrival, but not informative about what is or isn't available to you. If you just want a basic room with easier access to the beach than across the street would afford you, then this will do it. If you want a little nicer room, and better amenities, then you'd better keep on surfing past this one.

The smell in the room was perfume attempting to mask smoke(we're not smokers). The bed covering was burnt by cigarette ashes. The couch was cover in unidentifiable stains and the view was terrible( i.e no view). The positives are that the beds were comfortable. There was a washer and dryer just outside our door and the walk to the beach was four minutes. It's an on the cheap kind of place. We have kids and we'll never go back there again.

The service was great. Staff was very friendly and answered all our questions, also took the time to show us a local map and point out good placed to visit.Anything we needed(towels ect)seemed like before I put the phone down they were at the door.clean and big rooms. My room had 2 queen beds with a full sleeper couch also Microwave,fridge and coffee maker. The beach was about 5-10 min from the hotel. We had soooo much fun i cant even exp it. I have every intent on going back again.

The rooms were very large and it was walking distance to the beach. The front desk attendent was extremely nice and very helpful. The area were the hotel was located was not overcrowded with tourist and it was directly across from some really good shopping outlets.
