Great value for money!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/28/07
Excellent service from front-desk staff, centrally located in the village and great prices. What more can you ask for? The local whistler nightlife and shops are all within walking distance. East facing rooms have great views of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains.

Perfect for first time visit
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/11/06
It was our first visit to Canada and they made us feel very very welcome from the moment we arrived to the moment we departed. Our room was ready ahead of schedule which was wonderful after a 20+ hour journey from Brisbane Australia. The room was very comfortable and had a spectacular view out over Blackcomb Mountain and part of the Village. We would definately go back. Easy walk to goldola and restaurants. The only complaint we had about the place was small - the maids tended to clean the rooms and move our belongings around in the room so we could not find them. This was a bit annoying.

I enjoyed myself
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/9/06
To be fair, my stay at the Pinnacle was for my husbands business purposes so we didn't have to feel the weight of the bill so I wasn't incredibly worried about spending what I would normally spend on our bi-weekly groceries on where we slept per night. I liked the cozy room. It wasn't huge but it was a fair size & much larger than many of the 'reasonably priced' hotel rooms back home. I loved the tub in the room (big enough for 2) but only because I have always wanted to be a total slob one day by watching a DVD while I had a relaxing jaccuzzi & sipped on iced tea. The staff is a wee bit anal about their non-smoking policy as even smoking outdoors with the windows & doors shut is severly frowned upon. As for the $15/per day parking? Who needs it when a free day lot park is only a block away. You'd have to be incredibly lazy to complain about that tiny walk.

We'll go back.
By victor m, 9/12/05
Really good experience. The room was clean, comfortable. The hotel is very well located, 5 minutes from everything. Cleaning services was perfect. The only thing: in room storage is a bit limited. The build-in w/robe is rather small. Don't let this put you off though. It is a very good hotel, the staff was very friendly and knowledgable, happy to give advice. The room we had was facing the clock tower and the mountain, and especially at night the view was superb. Ask for a room facing the tower whan booking. Room facilities were spot on. The kitchen was small but well furnished, includes microwave, dish washer, crockery and cutlery. We were really happy there and consider the Pinnacles Whistler to be outstanding value for money.

Wow! What a treat!
By Marcel, 8/6/04
Spent a great week here. You can't beat Whistler any time of the year. The hotel was wonderful. It was nice to relax in the tub and not be cramped in a small bathroom. The full kitchen was a real money saver. A real nice park right next door. This hotel will become a yearly visit from now on!!

Belinda

Stayed at this hotel in May 2004. They welcome you with the words "parking will be $15.00 a day". Also they will charge your credit card for the 1st night without explaining this.
The rooms sound terrific but in reality, the room is quite cheesy. We stayed on the 4th floor which was VERY hot and the air conditioner did not work well enough to cool the room down. Part of the problem is that the gas fireplace, when not lit, the pilot puts out quite a lot of heat. The dish washer leaked considerably and the large stove ring did not work. The toilet had fecal matter on the toilet flush handle and the toilet seat. When I told the front desk person these things at check out, he offered no concern whatsoever. Stay somewhere else. there are many places to choose from. This is NOT a luxury hotel.
