absolutly horrid experience
By FRED, 2/23/10
I stayed at this hotel for three days and it was the worst experience of my life!!!! Someone obviously had a key card and walked in on me in the middle of the day as i was working on my computer. When I went to dinner someone entered my locked and supposedly secure room and stole my brand new laptop. The management and the national help line for this organization have totally refused to do anything about it. The Policeman that was called to investigate, told me that in the past former employess had been staying in the rooms without permission. How did they get pass keys, or the person who stole my laptop get his pass key???? Upon his investigation of his employees at the loss of my computers, the manager sent me an email and told me that none of them had done it. Am i crazy or is it stupid of me to think that a thief would own up to it??? I stongly advise you not to stay here if you want any security for your family or valuables. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality while visiting albuquerque!!!

Horror Movie Scary!
By Jennifer, 1/7/08
This hotel was really creepy, circa 1970. First, it is poorly lit and unfortunately it doesn't appear to be a very nice part of town. Second, there are bugs (roaches actually) so if you are squeemish beware! To their credit, the staff seemed accomodating and helpful. We just stayed there as an overnight stop-off on the way to Durgano, so for one night (actually about four hours) it was fine. Would not recommend an extended stay!

Check for bed bugs in room 129!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/22/06
We stayed during the balloon fiesta in October. We broke out in itchy welts within two days and could not figure out what was causing the rash. Came home and with a little web searching and visit to the doctor discovered the room had bedbugs. I saw them in the bathroom but did not know what they were. Notified management with no success. Also, they did not clean our room everyday because, "New Mexico law says hotels only need to clean rooms once every three days." The kicker was they bumped up their rates to over $100 per night because of the Balloon Fiesta. I will never sleep in a hotel room without tearing off the sheets in the future.

horrible experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/17/06
the staff was less than helpful, in fact the desk clerk doodled on her paper the entire time I was talking to her and she was just waiting for me to disappear. The room had broken equipment, headboard, shower rod. Check out was long and incorrect. Everything was a bother to the staff. I felt as we were such an inconvience for them for out 3 day stay.

good choice with the package (airfare and accommodations)
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/14/05
inn was convenient to i-40, on and off ramp, clean, continental breakfast was adequate. my only complaint was that the indoor pool was a little chilly one evening and the clerk had no way to turn up the heat, as well as the spa did not have enough water to use the jets...overall, nice and affordable...
